On the Hunt!!!

Our lease on our home ends in July- so we've been on the hunt for a new place to buy.  House hunting is such a long, exhausting process.  It's a little scary too- since this will be our first time purchasing a home.
We feel so blessed and fortunate for Ryan to have a great job that allows us to find a nice place to live, but I'm still in poor student mode- it feels so scary and weird to be looking at homes that are big and nice.

First we've been trying to settle on an area we want to live-this includes looking into the schools, wards, homes, neighborhoods, closeness to work, and proximity to things to do.

Ryan's job has also been a question, where will he be in a few months, a few years etc.

We have literally been ALL over the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and changed our minds a million times.

Our kids have been such troopers through a long and boring process for them.
We spent the entire memorial weekend looking at different areas and homes.  We tried to make it a fun little vacation for the kids, even getting hotels and stopped at new parks and swimming pools and a lake to feed the fish.

Carp are crazy and pretty gross.

It was a nice weekend, but no real luck on settling with a place, but it's all a part of the process.

Friday in Cozumel

Almost 11 years ago we were in Cozumel and rented a scooter and had the best time.  So although the ship discouraged people from renting scooters here, we  had to do it!  It was even more fun this time!

We rode almost around the whole island, right a long the coast.

All the beaches in Cozumel are very rocky so not too great for laying out, but super fun to climb around and explore and still so beautiful.

We made a few stops along the way for some ice cold coconut water and shopping.

as well as to see some Mayan ruins.

and finally we stopped at Senor Frogs to try to recreate a similar picture from our honeymoon ten plus years ago, but unfortunately they had taken down some of the signs that were there last time.  So this statue would have to do the trick.

Another fun photo op and it was back to the ship!

Thursday in Grand Cayman- our favorite!

Words cannot describe how beautiful the water is here!  Caribbean water is all gorgeous, but there's something about the water in Grand Cayman that I can't get over- it's the most beautiful blue I've ever seen.  The pictures don't begin to do it justice!

Sting Ray City!

Snorkeling!  I've never had great experiences with snorkeling, but this time it was so much fun.  There were amazing schools of fish all around and I truly felt like I was a part of their world for a little bit.

Relaxing at the beach for awhile before it was time to head back to the ship and back home.

Anniversary Cruise Trip! (May 11-18)

We got the awesome opportunity to go leave the kids for 7 days and go on a Caribbean Cruise just the two of us.

We were super excited!
(driving down to Galveston)

Arrived at our ship the Carnival Magic, set sail, and admired the beautiful view from our balcony.

Getting ready for our first night of cruise cuisine

The first two and a half days on the cruise were sea days so we spent much of the time enjoying the top deck activities while trying to look a little less pasty.  Our skin color basically screamed 'parents of three kids who never get out or see the sun'!

On Wednesday we arrived in Jamaica at Montego Bay

We headed over to the popular Doctor's Cave Beach and hung out until it started dumping rain on us and that was pretty much the end of Jamaica- we tried to do some shopping, but we just weren't that impressed with Montego Bay.

We headed back to the ship in time to participate in and WIN a Corn Hole challenge.  My dad would be so proud!

We enjoyed the view of the island one last time before it was time to set sail again.

That night we enjoyed a fun comedian before dinner...family friendly of course.

Brynlee stuff

This girl is just getting too big too fast.
It hurts my feelings that she'll be one in a short 6 weeks!
At 10 months she is pulling herself up onto everything, taking steps while holding something, smiling more than any baby I've ever seen, playing with friends, sleeping with her bum in the air, babbling up a storm, and loves-LOVES her brother and sister!
