learning some stuff all boys should know

Jase is my 'loves to learn' kid.  He is constantly asking us teach him stuff or let him try doing something, which we love.  

He has even been eager to learn to do a few chores.  

Helping dad mow the lawn has been one of them.

He continues to impress me with how easily he picks stuff up. 

After mastering many sports and biking, we are now onto golf and roller bladding.

that's what we have to do when you have a huge pregnant lady to deal with.

The kids and Ryan enjoy sleeping out in the backyard quite often. We call this camping ;).

We decided to make it pretty much legit by throwing in some s'mores!

You can't go roasted mallows and chocolate.

It was a little bit of a chilly night as you can see, but it felt like perfect camping weather.

Maycee and I actually lasted out there for a few hours, but around 2 AM I realized I wasn't getting much sleep, so the two girls came inside to a warmer more comfortable bed.  

A TOOTH!

Oh man, the things we get excited about over here.

Jase's first permanent adult tooth is coming in.

Ryan's got him all psyched up about it.

He is very careful to make sure it gets brushed well every night!

We're going for zero cavities.

No loose teeth yet, but can you imagine the excitement in our house when that happens!

   

34 Weeks

So this is a little late.

I'm 34 weeks in this picture, but as of yesterday I am officially 36 weeks.

Honestly, this has been my most uncomfortable pregnancy to date.  

I'm not longer fitting in any clothes ha ha.  

Even maternity jeans are just too restricting and don't feel very good when I sit down.  Maternity tops are also a joke as they no longer fit over my belly without me constantly tugging and pulling on them. 

SO these days I'm sticking to very loose pj pants and over sized t-shirts from Ryan's drawer.

I just keep hanging on to the fact that we are getting so very close.  

Four weeks left....maybe only 1 or 2 according to the ultrasound due date.  

I'm expecting her any time between June 1 and June 17.

spring into summer

I'm terrible at getting all the pictures off our phones to post up on the blog. I guess this is catch up time.

Here's just a few of the things we've been up to around here from spring on into summer.

We celebrate Dr. Seuss with green eggs and ham (apparently Maycee's heavy on the ham) for breakfast.

We fly kites!

We scooter around a lot.

We build towers.

We build muscles ;).

We go to LOTS of T-Ball games.

We play in the sand at the park.

We go crazy at Chuck E Cheese

We go out to eat at IN-N-OUT while still supporting Five Guys!

We visit the zoo.

and finally, we get a bed for our guest room for all the upcoming visitors after baby! 

We are also working on the new babies room.  Pictures to come soon!

Getting SO SO excited!

Sometimes Ryan will look at Maycee and say things like:

"She is so freakin cute it drives me crazy!"

or

"Does every dad think their daughter is the cutest thing on the planet?"

It makes me smile!

Then I find pictures on his phone like this and it melts my heart.
