I took the girls to get their pictures taken back in March. They turned out really well. Sabrina cried for the first 2 minutes but after 2 bags of fruit snacks and some serious McDonald's bribing I got her to cooperate.
May has gone by so fast. My Disneyland pass expired so life has been pretty boring around here. The weather has been good though so we have been hitting the park a lot lately and crashing Grandma Rhonda's pool as much as possible. Natalie is preparing for her 2nd dance recital this weekend and yesterday I signed Sabrina up for preschool. These girls are growing up so fast but they are so much fun and they keep us laughing.
I was trying to get Sabrina to finish her dinner the other night and she kept leaving her chair to go play and then would come back every so often to take a bite. At one point she came back with a blanket over her head and announced that she was a ghost and that since ghosts don't have mouths she can't eat anymore dinner. We really couldn't argue with her logic so we formally excused her from dinner.
We had an earthquake Sunday night about a mile or 2 from our house. It shook us pretty good. The news said it was a 5.0 and lasted for about 20 seconds. The girls were in bed but still awake. Matt and I ran in there and Natalie said, "Is the sky going to fall down on us?" It seriously felt like it was. It made me remember how much I hate earthquakes and I that I have no idea where the safest place to go is. We only lost a lamp off the piano and some cups fell over in the cupboard.
