Thanksgiving...

We had such a great Thanksgiving this year. We got to see lots of loved ones over the space of a few weeks.

Lonya, Jeremy and their boys came into town from Texas for 10days to hang out. Cayden and Hudson had a ball once Cayden got better. The poor little guy had some kind of the stomach pug the beginning of the week. Larin and Kara came in for the weekend and played with us as well. It was pretty fun to have family around. Sometimes its hard not having any siblings around on the holidays. I can't wait for Lindsy and Logan to get home from their mission's already... I'm so proud that they are out serving the Lord and I wouldn't have it any other way but for them to be out learning and growing but that doesn't mean i don't miss them or want them back home for my personal enjoyment. We did thanksgiving dinner on Friday with my fam. But for some reason I don't have dinner pictures so I'm just going to post some of our silly ones. It's probably because we didn't eat dinner till 7:30pm and Chad was working and did't get to the house till two min before dinner...

Jordan and Lindsey and their so cute girls came in from Bakersfield for Thanksgiving and we had dinner at the Graves house and were able to spend a little time wit them as well. Jordan and Lindsey announced that they expecting baby number three... We are officially behind again in the kid department! I'm just grateful to have such sweet boys at this point.

Play-mat fun! (Nov 2nd)

Brayton is two months and is starting to get interactive. He seems to like this play mat he especially likes to kick at the toys by his feet. He can go about 6-10min of play time on the mat as long as big brother isn't trying to lay on top of him and smother him with kisses...

This baby is the sweetest little guy. He is so engaging with his big blue eyes. He will stare at you until you smile at him then his whole face lights up with a huge smile. He will be a lady killer for sure.. He is kinda a skinny little guy but he seems to be pretty long for his age. It is so funny because I have to put him in 3month and 3-6month clothes these days because he is too tall to fit into the 0-3month. I usually have to put him in a one piece outfit because all the pants are way to big around his waist. Brayton is now smiling and is sleeping usually for a good 4-5 hour stretch at night for me. I just wish he would start to go to bed before midnight now...

Happy Halloween 2010

We decided to go with the desires of our three year olds heart this Halloween, and be the Toy Story Gang... We asked Hudson who he wanted each of us to be and with a little help from our friends and family we put something together. Our friend made Chad's vest and my chaps. We couldn't have been a good Woody or Jessie with out them. Hudson still talks about 'mommy the Jessie cow-boy-girl' and daddy the 'woody cowboy camp'. I just love three year old logic.

Papa's Birthday 53 (Oct 19th)

We had a surprise get-together for Papa at our house this year for his birthday. It was a lot of fun to have all the family over for cake and ice cream. Hudson just loves birthdays and birthday cakes. You would have thought the party was for him by the way he was acting. Happy 53rd Birthday Papa!

First Brother Bath (Oct 18th)

Tonight I decided to try the boys in the bath together for the first time! Brayton was ok for the first two min then he was over it. He likes warm water he just seemed a little nervous about not being secure in such a large body of water with his big splashing brother. Hudson was just so excited to have him in the water with him. Hudson just loves to hug and kiss 'his baby.' I'm so glad I have such sweet boys and i'm so glad Hudson loves being a big brother.

Tot lot October field trip (Oct 12th, 2010)

We went to Irvine Park for our October Field trip. It was so much fun. I took both boys Brayton was a trooper and slept almost the whole time. Hudson had a blast. We went on the train first then a hay ride and to follow it up we got to pick a pumpkin to bring home go through the maze and into the haunted house. THe haunted house was a big mistake. It wasn't very scary but sure enough Hudson woke up scared in the middle of the night for a few day following his visit to the scary house.

Best Buddies in the making...

Hudson is the best big brother. He truly loves his baby brother with all his little heart. It is the sweetest thing to watch him love his brother. I was a little afraid that he was going to be super jealous but that isn't the cast at all. If anything he is in love. I can't wait to see them interact when they are older. Hudson says that Brayton is his best friend. It is super sweet and I hope it always stays that way.
