The second ski trip to Utah

This time, Cody got us our favorite hotel with the water park( Staybridge Inn and Suites in West Valley), so we did a lot of swimming while the guys and Madelyn were off skiing. I'm still jealous!
This is my sister's little boy, Jacob, and Cooper by the pool.

Cody and Shawn went out for a movie, so I picked up some popcorn, licorice, and a big tub of icecream for the kids and I to eat while watching a movie of our own. We had a great night.

We ended our trip with a whole lot of swimming. The kids love it when Cody will get in and play with them. He's such a good dad. Chuck Hannah in...

Weee!

Jack kept belly flopping into the water off the ledge. I just sat back and giggled at him. He is getting so comfortable in the water and I'm pretty excited about that for this summer. Nat Soo Pah, here we come! January 27, 2012

Manta Ray swim team

I put Madelyn on the swim team at the YMCA and she is doing really well. She loves it except for the cold water. I know how she feels. What's great is that my other kids get to swim while we wait for class.

Cooper gets to sit with Dad and get tortured. Love the Nome hat! This is Cody's new ski hat.

When Cooper smiles, I don't think his mouth can get any bigger. January 23, 2012

Cooper is in love with his feet!

I love that smile! You are so cute Cooper. I honestly couldn't ask for a better baby...wait...yes, I could...one that sleeps through the night! Come on Coop! I know you can do it.

Hannah's first tooth!

Hannah has been whining for the past six months that she hasn't lost a tooth yet and everyone else has. I tried to tell her that it's not fun, but she wanted a sticker on the tooth chart at school so bad that she didn't care. She ran upstairs so excited one day when she barely felt her tooth wiggle. When it was ready to pull it out, she was so brave (a completely different experience from my other daughter). When I pulled it out with a washcloth, she was laughing and crying at the same time. It was so funny! She had the biggest smile on with tears running down her cheeks. We did this right before school, so she got to go right away and get her sticker on her chart. You're hilarious Hannah!

Another ski trip...that I missed out on.

Cody and Shawn Leavitt took Madelyn and Brett(Shawn's son) skiing at The Canyons. The kids received a full day ski lesson and ski rentals for $40. It was an incredible deal and Cody and Shawn got the day to themselves. We did this for two weekends in a row and Madelyn learned so much from her ski lessons. She is doing really well and absolutely loves skiing. I don't love how expensive it is.

Cody and Shawn, the snow really started coming down.

It was a little chilly!

The first weekend, they got dumped on and actually Madelyn ended up getting pretty wet. The second weekend, the weather was perfect and they all had an amazing day...I was VERY jealous. Darn nursing!

While they were off skiing, my sister, Alicia, and Melinda Leavitt and I took the little kids to an aquarium in Sandy. It was really fun and our kids had a great time...and so did I!

Hannah petting the Manta Rays

This picture was taken after Jack flipped backward over the top of Hannah causing both of them to crash to the ground. They are still smiling :)

There were lots of nooks and crannies to find creatures in. The kids loved that.

The penguins were our favorite. They were so active, playing tag and jumping in and out of the water. They were awesome and we spent a while watching them.

The aquarium just got these little otters. They were ADORABLE! I loved the little watch tunnel the kids got to go in.

Jack loved the yucky, giant snake in the corner

Melinda was a huge help with Cooper, as always.

I even got Shawn to hold Cooper while we were at his house. He told me my babies are the only babies he'll hold. I guess I should feel lucky. Nobody can pass on holding Cooper, though. January 21, 2012

Finally...SNOW!

We have been waiting for some good snow for a while. It's been cold, but no good snow storms. We finally woke up to perfect packing snow and lots of it. Cody headed out to shovel the walks and Jack quickly got his snow clothes on to help Daddy. I love how he walked out there and instantly made somewhat of a snowball and threw it Cody's leg.

Cody couldn't resist spending some time with Jack. He went into work late (does Cody ever go to work early?) so that he could build a snowman. They were so cute out there! I watched from the window with Cooper until Cody needed help putting Frosty together. They made him really tall!

Jack added to Frosty as well, after he took a few bites.

Our first Frosty of the year...in January!

By the time the girls got home from school, the snow was pretty slushy, but they were determined to make their own snowmen.

Frosty lasted through the night, but fell over early the next day when all the snow melted. It was fun while it lasted! January 18, 2012

Jack's first day of Sunbeams!

I completely forgot that Jack was going into Sunbeams. His birthday is at the end of December, so he's barely three and seemed way too little to me. Once I realized it, I was a little worried.

I always try to get a nice picture on this special day, but Jack was being so silly. Now I'm getting really worried.

Oh my! He is soooo handsome. I told him this and he says, "I not handsome mom, I Jack-Jack."

So, Jack sat perfectly through primary and I even watched him do all the actions to the songs. He was so cute up there on the front row. I was worried for nothing. Although the next Sunday he did ask why he didn't get to play with the toys anymore. He misses the toys. January 15, 2012

These are a few photos Jack too with my phone while I was shopping...at Costco, of course. My phone does wonders for keeping Jack busy while I run my errands. Thank you technology!
