WoW! What a LoooNG Weekend!

Sean and I decided to go down home for Spring Break. We pulled Lucas out of school early on Wednesday and let him miss Thursday and Friday. We did a lot and tried to remember to pull our camera out as much as possible. So here is a summary of all or our events!

Thursday, I went to go see my sister and Sean and his mom took the boys to Kinzua State Park. The bridge there was taken out in 2003 by a tornado. We never got the chance to get there and see the damage. It's really not that far from where we lived before we moved up here.

Here is the aftermath. It's really too bad. It was so beautiful!

Here is a picture I found of what it was before!

Friday, we drove over to visit with my parents. We popped a movie in for the boys. I just love this picture of Xander really enjoying it!!

Saturday, we had a birthday dinner for Sean's cousin Dawn and his brother's girlfriend, Carolyn. Once again, no pics! But after dinner there was a lovely concert!! I think the kids were really getting into it!

While we were home, my sisters and mom threw me a baby shower. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture with them and of everybody together. Thank you so much for all you 3 did!

We drove straight up to Buffalo right after the shower. So when we got home, I got it all out to show Sean. That is when I really got an idea of how blessed and loved we really are! We got SO much stuff! I am so grateful for all that we have gotten.

And thanks SO MUCH to Crescent & Megan, I was able to have Isabelle's quilt done in time to display at the shower as my mother wanted!!

Sean met me there so that we could head home. But before we left, the boys had to get a ride on the 4-wheeler with my sister's husband!

We had such a great time, but we are so tired!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!!!

OK, there is a family tradition here...of course!! St. Patty's day is really celebrated in this house. Every St. Pat's day, the boys wake up to green pancakes and green orange juice for breakfast!! Xander doesn't look quite awake for it. He woke up on his own, but he usually doesn't eat right away. But on the other hand, he really wanted his green pancakes!!

Xander got a second breakfast of green scrambled eggs. (Nothing is wrong with him...he is trying to wink at the camera!!)

Lucas outside after school, enjoying the beautiful weather and a ROOT beer!

And of course, a typical Irish dinner of corned beef, cabbage, salt potatoes, carrots and soda bread! YUM, YUM!!

These pictures are completely random, but were on the camera when I was dumping my pics off. Last weekend, Xander had his first trip to the ER. Lucas accidentally (at least I hope) shut Xander's finger in the closet door. It shut just right that it split his finger open. It looked like a huge chunk was taken out. He didn't want ME to take a really close look at it. So we ventured to the ER. It was a big cut, but they only used the glue on it. They took Xrays to make sure that the tip wasn't broken. He sat there so good. Didn't move a muscle. And better yet, wasn't broken!! He was such a trooper about it!! I think he was over it quicker than I was. Don't know for sure because he walked around for 2 days giving everybody the finger!!

Isabelle in 3D

For our baby shower gift, Sean's parents got us a 3D ultrasound appointment at Baby Bump Motherhood. The only thing was that we needed to have it done before the shower, so that it could be displayed there!! So tonight we went down! It was AwESoMe!!!!!!!!!!!! The pictures were truly phenomenal! The sonographer had warned us that at 25 weeks she was going to be really skinny. Well, just goes to show that she didn't know how much Isabelle likes Twix bars! She kept saying that these were really the best 25 week pictures she has seen. Should I read into it that she was calling our baby girl a chub? And, yes we did have her confirm that it was going to be a girl, again! Can you blame me for having doubts? All doubts have been erased after tonight, though! So this is good because I already embroidered her name on her quilt!!!

Her big mouth! You can even see her tongue!

Pouty lips.

I really could put more pictures on, but I will limit myself. These ones were definitely some of the best and the favorites!!
