Mommy decided to book a hotel room fur the Papal weekend in Philadelphia. Don't worry all her treadmill training with us paid off. Flat Lassie and Benji walked over 4 miles on Saturday and over 3 miles on Sunday during the Papal Weekend.
Flat Lassie and Benji saw lots of Pope banners on street sign posts in Philadelphia on Friday night.

This is a picture with the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in the background.

Saturday afternoon we headed to the Festival of Families.
We saw a Police Dog guarding everyone. Bravo to all the K9 police dogs who did a pawsome job on duty!

The picture version of Flat Lassie and Benji (not the keychain version) took a picture with the Jumbotron in the background. The comedian was talking about bread and making us very hungry...pretzel bread, garlic knots, pumpernickle bread.

On Sunday we got to the Parkway super early! Like 7 am! The Mass didnt start until 4pm. It was hard navigating the crowds that early in the morning. People must have camped out and slept on the street overnight.
Again we were very blessed to have a great view of the Altar.

When Mommy came home, she brought back a Pope Doll! We were excited to see the Pope Doll but even more excited to see our Mommy!
Grandma and Mommys niece and nephew took great care of us while Mommy was on the pilgrimage with Flat Lassie and Benji. Thank you fur taking care of us!
We also want to thank all the Bloggers who had positive vibes and the Power of the Paw fur our safe trip. Thanks fur having our back!
