Look what I can do

Fold myself in half

Help mommy wrap presents (I love the sound of curling ribbon!)

Be an extra for the movie coneheads in my sleep!

Wear daddy's t-shirts for diapers when he forgets to turn over the laundry

And practice getting up on my knees. Check out that concentration

Getting good! I like to get up like this and rock back and forth.

I can look oh so sweet

Trying to decide just how scary my uncle Jay and his hair are

I love sucking out of straws! Mom even started putting cod liver oil in it, and I love that too

And drink water from a cup. So yummy

I sometimes stuff two soothers in my mouth, I like change

And I can imitate John Travolta when daddy puts my onsie on backwards

I also try to escape from my rocker chair

So close!

I can practice my standing

And I can get there by myself!

First food

We gave her some avocado today for her first food. I think she liked it! She ate a little more later in a mesh feeder.

She loves the rocking horse, it's makes neighing sounds and music. She also tries to rock back and forth to get it to move.

She loved playing with the ribbon and tearing the paper off. Of course, she tried to eat it.

We made and received a lot of homemade presents this year and had so much fun!

Claire's bird teether. I think this is her favorite, she's played with it the most so far! The feet are crinkly and she loves chewing on them.

An "ant farm" that Hyrum made without consulting me (I would have told him it was too heavy for her, but she loves watching us shake it). It's about 8inches long and made out of oak.

Hyrum bought this stuffed dog for $3 and then turned it into a scoot toy

She's not too sure about it, but I think she'll love it when she gets older

A photo book of our family. I ordered it and wrapped it for myself, and I LOVE it. I filled it with pictures Kelli took and it's awesome.

An ABC book from Hyrum's sister Katherine. Every page has pictures of the nieces/nephews and other things that start with that letter (there are a lot of C's!)

A dress Hyrum's sister made for Claire, it ties in the back and comes with matching bloomers. She needs to grow into a little, but it's adorable! Look at that little owl!
