Mothers and Fathers

We celebrated the day of Mothers and Fathers. Here is a little recap.

Mothers Day was special this year since I had a new little one to celebrate it with. The day before, Grandma Young came down and we ate lunch and had a good visit with her. On Mothers Day, Mama Jo came over and we went to church and then headed over to Shelby's for dinner. It was a loving weekend. Motherhood is such a blessing! Even when you are waking up every three hours! :)

Now to review the day of Fathers. The day before, we headed up to Wallsburg to spend the day with Daddy Yo! Oh how we love him. On Fathers Day, we went to church and I cooked Eric's favorite dinner and dessert. He was definitely feeling the love with his two offspring!

Blessing Day

So it was time to make Gracie spiritual. We blessed Gracie this past Sunday. Eric did a great job. We had some family and friends come and support us on our special day. Little Gracie looked very sweet in her blessing dress. It was neat that she wore the same dress that Clara wore and that I wore many many years ago. Great day!
