Decades day!
Presdient's report: Martin Van Buren's Twitter Feed! We spent forever on this, but it's nice to have homework that lets James learn creatively instead of busy work (soapbox issue) and that I can actually help with (as opposed to Odyssey).
3rd grade gingerbread house day:
Nana and Papa hard at work helping out over Christmas break. We wish we always had family close by!

New Years Eve games got a late start.
There was a fight as Ruthie refused to give up the star insisting that James always gets to put the star on the tree. Blog books to the rescue: we confirmed his last turn was 2010.
