Although there is still more to do, after 4.5 months, I think we can officially share "After" pictures in the kitchen. The only things left really are window treatments, decorating, and floors. I could probably write a whole post about using the gel stain. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it. Obviously the cabinets aren't as good as new ones, but people are usually surprised when I tell them they're the original cabinets and that I did it myself. For around $200 (not including all the hardware), the price was much better than replacing them!
