Last day of Spring break
Today is our last day of spring break and my last day off for a long while. I have enjoyed the trip, the down time with the kids and not having to worry about being fifty places. I wish I could have one more week. I don't want to go back to work. Ha ha! It wears me out so bad. I just have to keep telling myself I am grateful I have a job and I am no matter how much I don't want to do it any more. It was a great week with my family. Love spending time with them and enjoying one another. Can't wait for summer.

Easter Sunday
We had a nice Easter Sunday. The kids got their Easter baskets then we went to church.
Then later the kids went outside and flew kites. We had a nice dinner and some pie while we relaxed as a family.
Then the next day it did this. Ha ha!

St. George Last day
On the last day we hit a dinosaur museum on our way home. It was different then I had expected. It was constructed around an ancient riverbed where they had many fossils and imprints of dinosaur footprints, dinosaur teeth, skin marks, swim marks, and other markings. It was really cool. The kids liked looking at the footprints. Their favorite was the huge T-rex print. It was neat to see it like that it made it seem more real.
Then we started our ride home. Our fun adventure was over for now. We were all sad to go home.

St. George Trip Day 3
I had found a site online that said to go check out the Little Black Mountain Petroglyphs on the Arizona border. I got the address, put it in my GPS and the road we were suppose go on didn't exist. It ended up taking us down a dirt road that got worse and worse until we ended up in a dry river bed in the middle of no where. We went back the way we came and tried a different address. It took us down another horrible dirt path but it lead us to where we wanted to go. We got there and there was like three rocks with Indian drawings on them. It took us an hour to get there and it was a little disappointing.
After that we headed back to St. George and went to the temple grounds. The flowers were beautiful and it was so peaceful there.
Then we went to get some lunch. The spring breakers had finally arrived because everywhere was packed. After lunch we went and got the boys some clothes that they needed. The boys were all shopped out so we went to the hotel for a break and then meet Scott and Jada for dinner at the Pizza Factory. It was good. Then we went to their house to hang out for a bit before heading home to call it a night.

St. George Trip Day 2
The second day we went into Zion's. We got there around 9:30 in the morning and it was already starting to fill-up. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was so pretty. We parked and hoped on the shuttle and went to the weeping rock first. It was a rock face that seeped water because the rock couldn't hold all the moisture it received from the top of the mountain. Here is Weeping Rock.
Next we went to the Emerald Pools. It was a 3.5 mile hike and while not hard it was a lot of climbing and it took quite awhile. There was three levels of pools. Liam feel asleep and Blaine had to carry him most of the way. The others did really good. I was worried the would have a hard time but they did great. We got to the top pool. Stopped to get a drink and some trail mix. Tucker and Sawyer climbed up behind the waterfall. Then after sitting and taking in the scenery we headed back down. The kids were pretty tired by the time we got back down.
Then we went and sat down by the Virgin River and the kids skipped stones off the water.
We decided to go get cleaned up and then go to dinner. We had worked up quite and appetite so we went to a buffet. Aiden kept saying we were going to Chuck-A-Grandma. Ha ha! We actually went to Golden Coral. Then went back to the hotel and crashed.

St. George Trip Day 1
Wednesday afternoon we headed out on as Liam kept saying "our adventure".
The kids were all excited for the adventure of going to go hiking and climbing down south. He got there in the evening and headed to Dixie Rock first. It is a super cool area of large rocks and crevices. Lots of climbing for everyone and they all were little climbing machines and loved every second. Liam kept saying he is trying his best since his legs were pretty short. When he would climb on his own he would say he was using his climbing powers like a spider. Aiden would get so mad if he couldn't do one of the climbs with the older two and dad. He could do it he would say. Tucker and Sawyer climbed huge rocks and steep mountain sides. Sawyer told me it was difficult and dangerous two of his favorite things. For the record I didn't let him climb dangerous things.
The next pictures were of the boys except Liam going through this claustrophobic space up and onto the top of the rock. I stayed with Liam plus I don't do small spaces. The boys thought it was so cool though.
After Dixie rock we went and checked into the hotel and went to Cracker Barrel for dinner.
