MJKTF

Thursday was a very sad day at the Terry house. I know Ryan appreciated all of the texts and phone calls. He will be missed. MJKTF

Today we had a little bit of sun

According to Brian Williams it's rained in NY 22 out of the last 25 days. Today it rained again but we also had a little bit of sun which was great. We went to Central Park with a bunch of friends and enjoyed the outdoors for awhile. We also went to this movie

I really liked it. I also went to Anthro and picked up this cute necklace.

When I went to Utah I saw it in Dana's room and I've wanted it ever since.

Here is Ryan and I at CPK. We always get the same thing so I thought I would document it.

It feels like we're in Utah

Last weekend we got to hang out with two of our favorite couples. On Friday night we saw Toby and Hannah who were in town to go to the US open and celebrate their one year anniversary. We had a lot of fun at dinner with them and we hope we'll be able to see them again soon. Good luck with med school!

On Saturday we caught up with Josh, Melissa and Jesse. We went to Lombardi's which is a famous pizza place. The pizza was excellent. We also got to check out TopShop. I think Melissa and I could have spent a long time there but they don't have a lot for boys. We'll be going back again but we'll leave the boys at home.

Regina

A few days after we went to see Eddie Vedder we saw Regina Spektor in concert. We love love love her. Her voice is amazing, especially live. We missed you Dana.

Dreams do come true!!!!!

On Friday night while we were in Philly, we went to see Eddie Vedder in concert. It was an amazing show but the best part of the night was when we got to meet him! I can not tell you how much Ryan loves this man. He has wanted to meet him forever and to get the opportunity was a dream come true. After the show Ryan and I waited for about 2 hours outside of his tour bus waiting for him to come out. There were about 30 other people waiting outside with us. Eddie came out and shook people's hands. Most people just told him how much they loved him and his music. When it was Ryan's turn he asked him how he came up with the song I AM Mine which is one of his favorites. I think he liked the question because he gave a nice response and then Ryan told him how he had gotten into a car accident on the way home from seeing him in Las Vegas and that the song had meant a lot to him. Eddie told him that he was glad he was alright and thanks for being a fan. After that I told Eddie that Ryan wanted to name our first son Vedder and that it wasn't my first choice but that it was a great name. He laughed and said we should name our future son Finn instead (Liam Finn, was the opening act). I thought it was kind of funny that he said that because I had actually told Ryan I liked that name a long time ago but Ryan wasn't a huge fan. We were both so surprised at how nice he was. When you were talking to him he just focused on you and not the rest of the crowd. I was so excited because I knew how much Ryan wanted this. Here are some pics that we took.

NYC, Arizona, Utah and Philly!

In April Landon and his new wife Amee came to visit. It was really fun to have them and we're so excited to hear that they're moving to Philly. We love having friends on the east coast. Now I can go to Philly to get my hair cut and colored instead of Utah.

In May I went to Arizona and Utah. In Arizona I got to hang out with Erika and Mollie. We had so much fun talking, shopping, talking, eating, talking, doing crafts, talking, swimming and playing with Carson. Thank you so much Erika for letting us come and stay in your amazing house. I had a blast. I think we need to have a girls trip at least once a year.

The results of our craftiness.

Ty, Carson and the girls. Thanks for watching Carson so we could hang out with Erika.

My brother in law Collin came over for a bbq

We all ended up wearing white skirts with bright colored shirts to church

On Saturday we all wore white capris which was definitely not planned.

While we were out shopping we decided to go to Nordstrom and dress each other up. This is what Erika and I picked out for Mollie. Doesn't she look cute.

Erika just happens to live really close to one of my favorite restaurants, In-N-Out burger, yum.

After Arizona I flew to Utah to visit my family and to help my dad celebrate turning the big 60! My dad is an amazing guy and there is no way I would have missed this big occasion.

Still looking good.

Me and my cute mom who worked so hard on the party.

Our good friends Kris and Bill who flew in from California for the big day. I haven't seen them since my wedding and it was great to catch up.

I got to visit Katie at her cute new house. I can't wait to meet baby number 2.

Even though my eyes are closed I had to post this picture of me and Danielle. We had quite the adventure when I met her for lunch. My sister's car that I was driving started over heating on our way back to her work so her boss had to come rescue us. Thanks Scott.

My mom, Kris, Bill and I went up to Park City to shop and visit the Olympic Park. Here I am running with the torch. Thanks mom and dad for flying me out. I had a blast. Even though you can't tell from the pictures Ryan was in Utah for a few days. His parents had us over for a nice dinner. I need to remember to take more pictures because I always get home and wished I had.

While we were in Utah these three moved out to NYC. I think I told them that I'm so happy they're here about 10 times. I can't wait to see a lot more of them this year.

Ryan and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Philadelphia. We had a blast hanging out with Katie, Chris and Henry. They were wonderful hosts and went way beyond the call of duty, you know what I'm talking about. Thank you so much for having us and spending your b-day weekend as a hostess.

Terry Update

I realize it's been awhile so here's an update on what we've been up to.

Ryan's year long position ended with NBC and he got a new job at the Showtime Network! He started in March and he loves it.

My job has also changed a little but not in a good way. I got transfered to our White Plains office the week after Ryan got his job. The office and people are great but unfortunately it means I spend about 3 1/2 hours a day commuting :( I'm definitely grateful to still have a job in this economy but it took me about a month to adjust to my new schedule.

Ryan's mom and Annie came to visit in March. We had a blast with them. Thank you so much for coming to visit. Here are some pics.

We had a good Easter. My parents got us some luggage that I'm getting really excited to use in less then a month now. I can't wait for a vacation!

We've also had two really fun weekends now that the weather is getting nicer. We've spent a lot of time outside and couldn't be happier about it. Hurray for spring!
