2 Years!!!

Tomorrow it will be two years since Ryan and I got married. I love being married to this man. He is amazing. I love hanging out with him, laughing with him and experiencing all the ups and downs life has to offer. No one can make me smile faster then Ryan. It drives me crazy. The only way I can stay mad at him is if I can't see him. As soon as I see him he has me laughing and smiling within a minute. I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime. I love you babe and appreciate everything you do for me. I am the luckiest girl I know.

Museum of Modern Art

Yesterday we went to MOMA. It's an interesting museum. Some of it I loved and some of it I didn't get at all. One of my favorite parts is a hallway that they saturate will yellow light so everything is in black and white. It's really weird. You feel like you are inside a black and white television show. I have no artistic ability, so any of the art I feel like I could have actually done myself, I'm not impressed by. I like seeing the art I read about in text books. It's amazing to see art that was created such a long time ago and how forward thinking some of it was.

Pearl Jam

On Wednesday we went to see my husband's second love Eddie Vedder. It was an amazing concert! We saw it at Madison Square Garden. The show was sold out and the place was going crazy. They even sold all of the seats that were behind the stage. Pearl Jam put on a really really good show. You could tell they were having fun and that they love their fans so they played for a long time. Ryan was like a little kid on Christmas day. He was shaking he was so excited. I don't think the concert convinced me that we should name our first son Vedder but I was very impressed and it was fun to see Ryan sooooooooooooooo happy!

Danielle Came to Visit!!!!

It was so fun to have Danielle come to visit while Ryan was in Utah for Toby's wedding. We had a great time. This is kind of a long post but there are a lot of pics.

Serendipity is definitely a must see if you are a fan of the movie

They are known for their cold hot chocolate.

This is Dylan's candy bar

This is at Max Brennars. It is really good. I promise we walked a lot this day and deserved to have two chocolate desserts in one day.

This is us at the Today show. We woke up so early but it was worth it. Rhianna was really good. I had her songs stuck in my head all week.

This picture was taken in Central Park. Yes, this guy is holding my hand and he gave me his email address. You never know what's going to happen when you ask random people to take your picture.

We shopped a lot! These are all Danielle's. Don't show Danny :)

I had high high high expectations for this show and it is amazing! I loved it.

The great thing about having a girl come to visit is that we get to share meals. Only when you are starving and you share your plate usually looks like this afterwards

Yankees game! This was my anniversary gift from my parents. I missed Ryan but Danielle was a great date.

Recognize this famous corner restaurant?

I had heard about this place but I had never been. It's fun. It kind of reminded me of Hires without the fry sauce.

I think the lady Danielle was sitting by wasn't too happy I was taking her picture.

Pinkberry is also a must stop.
Thanks again for coming! It was so fun to see you!

Vampire Weekend

I really like this band called Vampire Weekend. Thanks to Dana who informed me they were giving a free concert in NY, Ryan and I had the opportunity to almost see them. So, Ryan and I go down to Central Park and it's really really hot outside. I am trying to keep cool by fanning myself with a piece of paper and I even let Ryan pour a little water on me. We have great seats though and we are so excited for the concert. Then right before the first opening band starts to play there is thunder, lightening and a torrential down pour. We were literally soaked in a matter of minutes. We stayed dancing in the rain through the first group but things were only getting worse. They were going to delay the concert so we decided to go. We left a huge puddle of water on the subway. We had fun but I was bummed because I really wanted to see them. Maybe next time.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien

On Thursday I went to Conan with my friend Andrea. It was really fun. The guests were Randy Jackson, Piper Perabo and the band Forever the Sickest Kids. Conan was really funny but the people that made me laugh the most were the band's parents. The kids in the band were probably in their early twenties and while they played their parents in the audience were singing along and bouncing in their chairs. It was so cute. Afterwards we went to Max Brennars. This place is made for chocolate lovers. If you love chocolate and you come to NY I'll take you here. Soooo good.
