Here is a first!

I have never done this before but one thing I really enjoy about the blogging world are the talents of others and how they share there talents and ideas with us, I am always amazed at what some people can do... that is why I have a ton of my"favorite sites" listed on my blog! Well their are some sites that, as many of you know, have give anyways and I never do them, but today I decided it was time to start! Addy LOVES Valentines day and has asked me literally everyday "mom is it V-day today", she didn't even do that with Christmas... If any of you know my Addy SHE LOVES TO HELP Me cook! She has now started to say "mom what are we going to make today" it is pretty cute! SO I thought this little give away was a perfect idea because 1. it is pink and 2. she can help bake with it if I win it!

Anyways this is one of my "favorite sites" that is giving away the fun Valentinehere over at Sassy Site! She has a great site and I love how she has set her blog up to admire others "sassy" blogs! Plus she is from Arizona which reminds me of home and family and friends! So go check her out!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Well Rohnin has been a busy little crawler...He went from sitting...
to crawling...
to observing...
to attempting to use his standing walker....
And yes I am a little sad cause it means yet again my "baby" is getting bigger and older and ...
it seems like right around the 5th of the new year he decided it was time to start crawling and now he can stand alone for several seconds, before falling to the floor...and I think he'll be walking way to soon, dang-it! Yes it is exciting, way too messy, and fun,-- BUT-- it is so hard watching your babies get older...
Anyways...
Even though he does not like to admit it....he is standing without help these days, walking around the couch, crawling to everything on the ground & putting it in his mouth, and using his sitting walker to go everywhere he can think of...I should have taken a picture when this happened, but, the other day he got stuck in the walker in the wash room by, somehow, turning it sideways...to say the least I had a hard time getting it out... with-out him in it....He is a very messy, fun, busy, stubborn, loving, and very strong little guy... he definitely makes our family circle a little more complete!
It snowed here last Sunday on the 9th and you better believe Addy was beyond excited! She went screaming around the house when Art first told her of the snow! The next day Addy and I went out and threw snow balls, helped our awesome neighbors build this snow man and then we stayed and played some games with them and had our very first 'Snow Cream' it was pretty good, My neighbor is a great cook and it has been fun trying the different foods these southerners eat!

I have the pictures mixed up but this was Sunday night and it kept on snowing, when Art and I went out to clean his Bronco off there was about 6 inches of snow on it! We also learned how important it is to have a snow shovel, snow turns to ice if ya done shovel it off your porch and drive-way and well you get the picture!
I love this picture, I sent Addy out and she was trying to catch the snow and look at the different snow flakes!
Good old Rohnin knew there was something going on but well didn't get to crawl around in it...it was pretty cold!
So Addy built a little fort and the two played a lot in it for the next couple of snow days!

...AND Addy LoVeS being in Rohnin's room climbing in his crib when he first wakes up...still...and playing with all his baby toys and well I just Love these two to death, because they just love each other and giggle and fight and well all the sibling fun that comes with having sweet children! My how time flies when you have young children around...it truly is bitter sweet...

Christmas, Beading & Painting Projects, Family Time!!!

We Had a wonderful Christmas, shared with my wonderful in-laws who also brought out a bronco for us! They also helped us paint over that "fun" Yellow, don't get me wrong I am not a yellow hater, it was just alittle extreme in my home, it wasn't like it was a pail or baby yellow, it was BRIGHT...But I love how it all turned out, I will take some pictures soon of all the painting we have been doing!

We helped Rohnin slide down the slide and he just giggled the whole way down...so adorable!
We found this nice spot out by the Arkansas River a while back and thought since its about 45 minutes away we'd show the parents a little or Arkansas! Chilly but beautiful!!

Say good-bye to the yellow woooo hoooo! I got a little burnt out on this bright yellow considering it was throughout several rooms! Addy LOVED helping and really does enjoy doing projects with me and family!
I made these and one or two more necklaces for family and Addy's school teacher!
These are the gals I get to have fun with! yeah for friends! They help me feel more normal!!!

Art found a Princess tent for Addy's bed and she actually sleeps on the top bunk a little better! Yeah for tents!

Painting like crazy...gosh have I been a bad blogger lately...well we've been a little busy!!! That and having your hubby around for a month when you normally shouldn't is ALWAYS a wonderful treat...so we tried not to waste it!

Art was home for most of December, my wonderful in-laws drove up for Christmas and so of course we got a ton done! Yeah! The last couple of weeks have been kind of a big blurr! I have not forgotten my blogging world and promise to post more and pictures soon! But we do hope and pray everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Amazing New Year Fun!
