Our skinny little Emmy
I'll see if I can get a picture about this later today...
Emmy asked us this morning if it was going to be warm enough to wear capris today. After securing permission, she comes out with what appears to be capris on. After looking closely, Robyn decides that she doesn't recognize this pair of capris and begins to wonder where they came from. She glances at the tag to see the brand and size, and it says "9 months". Emmy is 4. Years. She had put on Luke's pants for Emmy's capris! And they fit (around)! What a skinny little girl!

Easter celebrations 2007
For the most part, I'll let the pictures tell the stories here. Saturday before Easter, we went to the annual Easter egg hunt at the Jaffa Granparents'. This event seems to have reduced greatly in scope over the last few years, which I guess may or may not be a bad thing, depending on your perspective. The kids had fun and got plenty of candy...
Grandpa and grandma were in charge of grilling the burgers and the dogs for lunch. Yum!
Dallin and Haley and Emmy hunting for eggs... and finding plenty!
All the kids showing off their bags of candy. From left, Kemry, Ian, Haley, Luke, Daniel, Julianne, Dallin, and Emmy.
Luke got a couple of eggs to play with too. They had candy in them, but since that's a foreign concept to Luke at this point, he was happy just to have something to play with.
Sunday morning we took family pictures. Luke was more interested in looking at the camera remote in my hand than at the camera itself...

Sunday afternoon we went to Grandma JoAnn's and had dinner and another egg hunt, but I forgot to bring "film" for my camera, so I don't have any pictures of that glorious event. Twas fun, though, and the kids got lots more candy. I think all in all, they made out better this weekend than they usually do around Halloween!!

Kids' activities
Haley is in her second season of soccer, still playing with the K/Pre-K group (U-6), and as the teams only 6 year old, she's fairly dominant. No one gets past her awesome defense, and she's even scored a few goals already. Our team is 2-0 and to be honest, the games haven't been close. I know one of these days we'll run up against someone who's as good or better, but it hasn't happened yet.

And Emmalee is now in dance class, ballet and tap. It's an 8-week thing offered through the city. Personally, I think she was just as excited to go shopping for a leotard as much as anything...
