Here we go trying to get a family picture. I think it's funny that we need to take thousands of pictures to get just one decent picture. Greg and I look the same in all of them. The kids don't!
Chase winking:
Savannah sticking her tongue out for us:
Chase in his outfit for the play, being silly:
Savannah the shepherd.
They did a great job with their parts. The kids loved their Christmas gifts, and we love having Dad home.
Here we try again to get a picture of the kids looking at the camera. Chase finally smiles but not looking at the camera.
Try number 30 or more-and its the best we could get. Chase had to be funny and flare his nostrils.
Chase just wanted to share his funny faces with us.
Savannah just being cute! Yay she looked in the camera, but forgot to smile!
Merry Christmas everyone, and we wish you a joyous New Year!

At the grocery store, I saw beautiful poinsettias. When I got home I really noticed the one mom got before they left to Israel.

When Chase and I hung are stockings.
He said mom "which one is my"
I said "the penguin one"
he said (in a funny tone) "penguin one".
I knew he was going to out grow it. Next year he'll need a more boyish kind. I got it for his first Christmas. It's going to be hard to let it go. A picture for memories:)

Chase told Santa he wanted GI Joe toys. At my moms Ward Christmas Activity. Savannah was brave at the end to let Santa know what she wanted. She got me by the hand to take her to go see him but when we walked in, he was standing and it scared her to death. She didn't tell him but she waved hello, when he sat back down. He was a really tall Santa:) My little man with Santa.
We had are girls night out for December. This time my mom came with us and my sister-in-law Diane was missed. We had dinner at the olive garden:)

This gingerbread house was so hard to keep together.

Gram crackers is the way to go for next year. Thank goodness it DID stay together. Chase did a good job with candy decorating & helping me. He didn't lose his patience like I was:)
After dinner the kids decorated turkey cookies that Lizeth made. The kids really had a good time cookie decorating:)
It was a blessing having Greg home for Thanksgiving. I was afraid it wasn't going to happen but by October we knew he was definitly going to be here. The kids just love having him home. Savy is daddy's little girl. She was on his hip the whole time.
We went out to watch New Moon.
I'm not lying, the last time I went out with all my sisters without our kids was last year when we watched Twilight. This time Susy didn't make it. She has a new born at home to care for. After the movie we went to Starbucks because it was the closest place to hangout that was still open.
I really liked the movie but through out the whole movie I was comparing it to the book and I was disappointed when it wasn't exactly like the book. I understand that the movie can't be just like the book, but it could have been a bit closer. I want to go watch it again without comparing it. The whole movie is based on the wolfpack, and on Jacob. I am all the way team Edward. He isn't in the book much or movie but its okay. He'll be back in Eclipse:)
It was a very short visit, but it was great. I'm really excited that we will see him again next week. In a couple of days we did a lot. First thing we had to take care of was buying a car. The Pontiac broke down on me while coming back home late night from my niece and nephews birthday party. Thank goodness it didn't happen on the freeway. We wanted to buy a car after our move to Hawaii, but I still need to drive a car here for another 2 months. We decided to purchase a SUV for many reasons but one reason why is because our family is expanding:) We will need more space. It was fun car shopping.
The next day we headed out to Knott's berry farm. Savy's first funnel cake.

Dustin and Michelle with their kiddos came out too. We had a fun day. Savy was afraid of some rides and had some tears. Poor little Savy she isn't that brave when it comes to new experiences.
On Saturday we had a barbecue on Greg's last day home. He really loves to cook, and I miss his cooking. It was nice and a big treat. He did Carne Asada, and made Cecheve, Aguacate, rice and beans. The whole Peterson family was over. It was such a beautiful day outside and very relaxing...with awesome company. Greg made it back to Georgia safely. See you next Wednesday for Thanksgiving love! We have so much to be thankful for!
Savy loves eating hotdogs.
I was a little nervous Savy wasn't going to like her costume. I was wrong. She loved it. She kept saying "I'm a fairy princess." She sure was a princess:)
Chase was one tough Snake-eyes:
We did make it out to our Ward Halloween party and the kids felt a little better. Chase played games. He was trying really hard bobbing for a apple. His face was soaking wet.
Savy won a cupcake, and she liked playing in the haystack maze. Poor little Savy she looks sick in these pictures:(
On my birthday we had a dinner with the family and had some delicious homemade cake-the best! Especially with raspberry/cream cheese topping.
Here he is- my parents got him smiling.

On Saturday, the kids and I went with my mom to a sweet 16th birthday party and visited with my dad's immediate family. It was good to see them. I like this picture. It looks like Chase is protecting me.
Chase hugged Savy for their picture. SWEET!
The kids and I went to get our Halloween decorations. Chase picked his own. We found some fun stuff at the 99 cent store:)
Our witch.

You can't have Halloween without spiderwebs:)

Our front door. BEWARE:)
