Grant turned 18 months!!

On September 11th Grant turned 18 months! We do not know where the time has gone. At his 18 month appointment he weighted 29.6 lbs, His height was 35 inches. In weight he is in the 90%. In his height he is in the 98% and his poor head is 100+%. He has 16 teeth! Things Grant loves!! *Cars, cars, and more cars! this is his favorite thing he will play with his cars all do put them in different locations throughout the house. *Disney Cars movie! I am in shock he will sit down and watch the whole movie from start to finish! Gives me some time to get things Done :)! He will laugh and smile and different parts. *Loves to swim! he wears floaties and climb into the pool all my himself and float and kick around the pool. He started doing this in July. *Likes to turn light switches on and off. He will now mumble "light on". *Likes to read! he really like the book "Thats not my monkey" He likes to feel all the different textures in the book. *LOVES Food he eats about anything except for vegies! He used to eat them so well when he was little, but he now hates them. Last night at dinner I attempted to hide them in his mac and cheese I cut up green beans into small pieces. This did not go over well at all. He spit out all the green beans! BUT he will drink a spinach shake! So that is his way of getting vegies in. *Loves babies! I baby sit little miss Parker she is 7 months old and every time they drop her off grant runs over to her car seat and babble all high pitch(his baby talk lol). Its really cute he gets down on the ground with her. but sometimes he will try and sit on her so its a learning experience! *We get through sacrament meeting by bring him cars and he loves his quiet book! He had his first day of official nursery on Sept 15,2013. He loved it! I have been taking him to nursery since he was 16 months old and would sit in there with him so it was not a huge transition. *He can say outside, mama, dada, hi, doggy, kitty, on, uhh ohh, up, car, hehe, haha, no. These are some of his words they aren't always very clear either and won't say them all on demand. *He sleeps about 12 hours each night, unless he is teething or is sick. He is down to taking on nap usually around 10 am and will sleep for 2 hours. *Loves to play outside any chance he can get. He knows when grandpa is leaving for work he runs to the door and wants to go out with him. *Misses daddy when he is at seminary and at school he will walk around the house saying dada dada in each room. Those where all the immediate things that I could think of. We are so blessed to have Grant in our lives he bring so much joy to us!!

Happy 1st Birthday Grant!

One Year ago today the biggest blessing came into our lives!! Our sweet baby boy James Grant Peterson was born March 11, 2012 @ 12:14pm! We have loved every second watching out little guy grow! He amazes us everyday with the new things he learns! We love you so much Grant! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!! So Big So Fast!

So the other morning Nikki turned her head away from Grant for a few seconds. The next thing she new he was standing up. He has since done it multiple times. So amazing to watch him grow and to see him learn. Such a special little guy. We sure love him.

Our Little Family Update!

Grant will be 7 months on 10/11 next week and I just cant believe it! 

Things he has been up to:

-Loving to eat all different vegetables and of course loves his bananas!

-Crawls backwards all over the place

-Just today learned how to go from laying on is tummy to sitting down!( This one I cant believe he can do already!)

-He is teething like crazy! 

-He absolutely loves is big boy bouncer he will stand and jump in it forever!

-Still will not sleep through the night! Wishing he would :) 

 Grant got to go out and visit his great great Aunt Claire! And she just loves him to pieces she says :).

 This is what happens when he crawls backwards he puts himself right underneath the couch!

 We have tried to fit in a couple of Disneyland trips in when Andy has some free time which is not too often!

Grant in his mastered crawling position he will rock back and forth and then fly onto his face! It is so funny that he does not even mind it :)

*Other news in our little family Andy just finished one of his classes to day so just four more to go this semester and he will have his AA in history! We also found out this last month that he got accepted to cal state for winter of 2013. So as long as everything goes as planned he will start in January!! I am so proud of Andy in everything he is doing to support our family he is working so hard right now!!

Grant is getting big!!

Grant is almost 5 months old!! We can not get over how big he is getting. He is able to sit up in his bumbo, he just started on baby cerial on july 31 and loves it! He weights around 16lbs and is 27inches long! As of his four month appointment his head was in the 99th percentile, height in the 95th percentile, and his weight in the 75th percentile! He has also now found his toes and loves to play with them and for some reason I just love it when he does it! We just got back from Parker,AZ spending ten days at the river and grant was so grant and is now an official river baby :)

 Anytime I was holding grant logan would ask me to put him on the floor so he could play with him! It was too cute!

 Andy being a good uncle, but I think he was having more fun than the kids lol!

Welcome to The world Baby James!

This is a little video i made last night. Hope you enjoy. Baby Grant arrived on March 11 at 12:14pm. He weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. We are so happy to welcome this little man into our lives.

Baby James is moving!!

I am so exciting over the past few weeks I have thought that I have felt the baby moving, but not quite sure if it was him or not! But starting sunday I knew that it was him! He is getting so strong and is now making me jump when I feel him kick because I dont expect it :) Andy got to feel him kick yesterday and was so excited. Its the best feeling ever to feel the baby move!
