Expectations
When we set expectations we are often disappointed when we fail to meet them.
This was the case with this past weekend. Even as a kid I can recall my parents repeatedly telling me that, "I set myself up to fall with attempting to set expectations."
It's always an interesting thing when the weather matches your mood.

Not a single care cuz I got feathers in my hair
Been running around town all weekend like a headless chicken looking for one of the girls that does this. FINALLY FOUND HER. She's calling it featherluxe-it's on facebook. In an act of desperation I ran up and down south congress. Finally found someone with one in their hair and they even had a card! Called the number and an hour later wound up at a random apartment in barton skyway...Kinda scary especially since the doormat said "piss off." Wound up being a nice extremely chill normal girl who did them. Her and a friend were making earrings out of the feathers. Weekend goals accomplished on so many levels. So happy!

Out of State Blues
Currently writing from my college's library.
It is midterms...
my life sucks. Yet. Here I am thinking of Soco, The Lake and longing for Uno's chai or Houndstooth cappuccinos. Coffee here just doesn't compare. I try to support the local stuff here but there's just no comparing it.
Yeah, I'm homesick.
