Joe Dirt look out because here come the Rogers

Seriously, will the chaos ever end? I just need to take pictures of how trashy we are at our house. No wonder our neighbors hate us. I feel like the construction will never end but Mike keeps telling me it will and I believe him (4 years later and counting). You would think we live in a mansion with so much to fix up but we don't. We have a tiny home but it feels like there is never enough time to complete anything. So I am announcing now that my goal for this summer is to completely finish the basement (all the small stuff), finish the side yard and get going on the backyard. I swear we'll be moving by the time I have this darn place cleaned up and the neighbors will be celebrating our departure. Jerks.

I've decided that 2 months is a good amount of time between posts. It will feel like I have a lot going on because I have so much to catch up on. I'm too lazy to post pics but I will in my next blog that should be arriving sometime in August.

Will is fantastic. He's talking non stop but he doesn't say words. Mike is worried that I'm going to nurture a gay son (not that there is anything wrong with that) because we listen to so many musicals and his favorite songs to dance to come from Hairspray and Singin' in the Rain soundtrack. So? We like it and if it makes us want to dance, we're gonna dance. I would have to say one of my favorite things about Will is his bottom lip when he's about to cry. It's always a slow reaction but that lip sticks out so far that I just want to bite it off. What a stud.

Mike, he's nice. He's just putting away at his insurance gig and liking it. If he ever has free time he's working on our house and I'm grateful. What a man, eh? We really like it here and I'm glad that he's making it a home for us that we can enjoy. I'm telling anyone or no one who reads this that there will be a big celebration when the backyard is all finished. Don't expect anything grand. We're just hoping for green grass -- that's all it takes to make us happy.

I can't leave out Montana either. What a dog! What a dog! (Lady and the Tramp) Sure she's laying on the floor tooting horrible smells but I adore her. Trisha and Abby know what I'm talking about. She has gas but she's such a lady that I have to call them toots. She's a sweetheart and puts up with Will always pounding on her. I highly recommend people getting a dog if their dog is as great as she is. I can take no credit for her of course because I didn't raise her but man, I love her.

I'm already done posting but I have to leave off by talking about the reunion. I'm nervous. Sure, I'll say it. I'm nervous. I look terrible but I'm so happy so it's a funny trade off. I loved high school and I loved my friends and therefore, I'm excited to go. Do you ever think that everyone will be so worried about themselves that they won't notice anyone else? I went to Mike's reunion last year and it was so much fun. We just had such a great grade and so many great people to catch up with. Whoever is reading this better come. Or should I say Whomever? Any English majors out there?

Good night. I'll post pics and videos tomorrow--maybe.
