Hello sunshine and warm weather. I'm in a Utah funk right now so my family decided to pack up at the last minute and take a trip down to good ol' Arizona for some Nugent fun in the sun. That's right, we're hanging out with Matt and Bekah (Adair) Nugent and their boy, Jax. It's heaven down here. I know I've called Utah heaven but that's only when it's nice. I've decided that Arizona is actually heaven and I would like to be here permanently. We've done nothing but party since we got here and it's so nice. They have the most beautiful home EVER and I highly recommend that you all hire Bekah to decorate your home. She is too good at it and really has an eye for remodeling homes to their full potential. Maybe we should just get her her own HGTV show because she would be really successful. And can we talk about how wonderful HGTV is? We don't have cable TV and I'm fine with that but I would love to be able to just have HGTV--that's it. Okay, HGTV and Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel but that's it. Now I'm just going off on a tangent.
Jax and Will are BFF's. They have hit it off since birth (1 year ago) and it's so much fun watching them interact. You can just tell that they are buddies. These pics are of the boys in the Nugent's backyard. Seriously, I would be fine to have a swimming pool. In fact, if I get a swimming pool I would like you all to know that you can use it anytime. I hate the stingy swimming pool owners that never invite anyone over. I would just leave the gate open, you could sign a waiver that you couldn't sue me if anything happens and just enjoy.
Mike and Matt are BFF's too. I am just blogging on the couch while they play Wii and you know this is exactly what they were doing with each other 10 years ago in high school. Not much has changed and I love it. I love the trash talking -- especially since both of them have nothing to brag about.
Tomorrow is going to be another fun filled day in Phoenix at a place we like to call Castles N' Coasters. It's the ghetto lagoon of Utah where we can ride coasters, slip our hands into each other's butt pockets and chow down on churros. That is what I call an AWESOME day. I can't wait to post pictures of who has the best mullet -- better yet, best permed mullet with a mexi-stache. In fact I would like to quote a comment posted on the theme parks website, "This place should be a blast for the family, but each time we've gone we've been so overwhelmed by the bad. On one occasion, a child who's maybe 9 years old at best, was throwing ice cubes at patrons passing by on go-karts and dropping the "F" bomb every other word...". YYEEEHHAAA!
I guess I'll get back to the fun and games. I'm working on poems for all of you so no worries my jealous friends (aka Amy Rossi). I love you all equally and maybe I'll mix the poetry up with a haiku or two.
