Well, well!

I woke up this morning to the news that the UK is leaving the EU.
I'm sure everyone has their own views on this. Lets hope it will help our wonderful country get back together again. I'm sure things won't improve overnight but in time.
I'm keeping my hopes up for the UK to be the country that we want.

Also, David Cameron has resigned as our PM. So, who's going to take over?

Watch this space, let's hope you have made the right choice Great Britain. I really hope so too, especially for our grandchildren, they are the ones that will have to live through this.

Zumba

After a 2 year break due to a frozen shoulder and arthritis in my knee and plantus fasciitius (sp)  I finally made the decision to try Zumba again.

So glad I did, I may not be as energetic as I was but I'm doing it and not in a lot of pain , which is good.

So twice a week I'm off giving it all I got. And I'm feeling the benefits after only 5 weeks. It's great fun and the instructor is fantastic.

Hopefully I'll fit into some of my summer clothes for my holidays now.

Olive tree

The olive tree pic that didn't load rom my previous post .

Monday luncheon

Today was quite nice, I had lunch with an old school friend from ....    ummmm nearly 40 years ago.

We don't see each other very often, but isn't it nice just to carry on from where you left off 8 months ago. That's what I call friendship. Our lives has taken us in different directions, but we always remain close and know we are there for each other. Families and holidays always get in the way of meeting regularly but today we made it. Lovely lunch at my home as the weather was really bad (midsummers day) salmon with orange sauce. Yummm

Olive tree

This cheeky plant just suddenly appeared in my garden 2 years ago, now look at it. Blooming lovely.

Arum lily

Love these lilies in my garden

Father's day card

Here's the little card I made for dad this year.

So little on the market for men.

Flowers in my garden

Summer? What summer?

Well it's the middle of June and the weather is very wet.

I have realised there is nothing to do in cold wet Plymouth.

All that's on TV is bloody football. Boring.

Dartmoor is misty and wet.

I certainly don't want to go to the city centre again. Lots of shops have shut down anyhow.
oh I remember Woolworths, Derry's, TJ Huges, and now BHS is closing down. Where will we have left to do our shopping?

So on this reflection, Plymouth is Boring.
