7 days to go

One week today will be our wedding day. Flying off to Mauritius tomorrow so probably won't blog tomorrow as leaving early.

Hair and beauty treatments all complete. Just chillaxing and checking everything is packed and ready to go. Sorted out all the legal paperwork that we need to take and charging up phones, nintento DS, cameras etc.

That's it nothing else to do but sit and wait, bet I won't sleep tonight!

8 days to go

I finished work today (go back on the 3rd December) now I can concentrate on .....ME!

Had eyebrows waxed tonight and off to the hairdressers tomorrow.

We got the music all ready to copy to CD in case the venue hasn't got ipod deck thingy!

Going to check our paperwork is all in order and get our rings out of the safe.

My daughter has been texting or emailing me all day - she's so excited.

Hope I don't break a finger nail.

9 days to go

Nine days! Wow, just packed our cases and although they are full we still have another 3kilos baggage allowance between us. Just a few more t-shirts and shoes then!!!

Just need to sort out our legal documents and pack them into our hand baggage, Oh and the rings of course.

 

 

Had lots of cards and some gifts given to me at work today so the cards are packed but we'll leave the gifts home and open them when we return.

10 days to go....

Its my daughter's birthday and she came over (with my grandson) for tea tonight. I thought I was excited but my goodness me she is really really excited. Bless her, she's never been away for a whole 2 weeks before, and no where like Mauritius (does Japan count?) anyhow.

11 days to go

Just been online and booked our seats. We are flying in an AirBus A340-300 on Saturday. Got the middle row so we'll all be sitting together.

2 weeks to go.......

Well nearly there! Sean's gone out for his 'Stag Night' with the lads. I hope they don't do anything stupid. Handcuffs and lamp-posts are totally out now, aren't they!?!?!?!

So he's off drinking and I'm at home babysitting my gorgeous grandson, Ben. He's fast asleep and I may just indulge in a glass of rose'. Left over from my 'Hen Night' last weekend.

Suitcases are down from the loft and airing, so they'll start filling up tomorrow.

Nothing else to do but pack really.

Hair being cut next week and a visit to the beauty salon, nails, waxing etc.

So that's it, all sorted. I hope!

Hen Night

Well its my hen night tomorrow and I just got a beautiful dress. Its black and beaded with lots of tassles, and it fits perfectly after all the weight I've lost (one whole stone) so I'm really pleased with how I look and got the perfect dress which I can't wait to wear tomorrow night.

3 Weeks to go...

Getting really excited now, in fact so excited that I can't sleep at night, thinking about everything and how its going to be just perfect for us.

Also my son, Ashley, is flying out to meet us from Japan and it will be lovely to see him again. Spending 2 whole weeks with my good friends, Gaynor and Steve, Shirley and Tom, and of course my beautiful daughter Hollie and grandson Ben. It'll be the perfect holiday/wedding. And more than anything - no hassle, no stressing, and good weather.
