More Valentines

Jer and I were out of town for Valentines Day. I could sense Lillian was a bit sad because Jeremy always gets her flowers on this special day. Jeremy didn't disappoint and on Valentines Day Jeremy arranged a special delivery for his special girl. She got a teddy bear with jammies and then identical ones for her, some hot cocoa and a chocolate bear. Jer sure knows how to spoil his girls. I think it made Lillian's day. (The pajama's that matched the teddy bear looked VERY similar to the bunny suit on The Christmas Story) We had a good laugh when we got home. :) It is the thought that counts and Jer never disappoints.

Toad Turns 7 Months!

Our little Toad has turned 7 months! He is such a joy! He is super smiley and slobbery. He has slept through the night the last two nights. I wake up in a panic because I feel like I have over slept. I am used to getting up with this man at least 4 times a night. He recently tried green beans and sweet potatoes and LOVES them. I don't think I have ever had a baby that loved baby food so much! I give him a bite and immediately he has his little mouth open for more. He downs an entire jar in minutes.I can't imagine our life without Toad in it.
 Happy 7 months!

Happy Valentines Day!

Jeremy and I are leaving out of town so we celebrated Valentine's day with the children a few days earlier. I wish I would have known that Juan was going to show up, I didn't have a Valentine bag for him. Oh well, the kids shared. Happy Valentine's Day kids! We love you!!

Snow!

We have had quite the winter! We moved here in 2007 and I would say that this has been the coldest winter by far! Definitely ready to see the sun again! Chief can't wait for Spring either. Who says you can't ride your bike in the winter?

2014 Pinewood Derby

Way to go Boys!

Spelling Bee

Snow Day at the Great Wolf Lodge in Canada

It has been terribly cold this winter. On Tuesday we had another snow day and the kids didn't have to go to school. Jeremy called me around 11:00 and said to get everyone packed we were leaving to go to an indoor waterpark. We got in the car and Jeremy typed in an address to the indoor waterpark. It said we would be arriving in 18 hours. Anyways, long story short he got the right city just booked in the wrong state! No problem we know of a hotel in Batavia that has a little waterslide in it. We called and booked a room and when we arrived sure enough the waterpark was closed. Determined, Jeremy said let's go to Erie and go to their indoor waterpark I called and was smart and asked first if the waterpark was open. Nope! Sure enough they weren't opening until Thursday! So I contacted Fallsview right over the border and into Canada and sure enough their pool didn't open until Thursday because it was getting fixed. We hesitated to call The Great Wolf Lodge because of the insane prices, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to call. So glad I did we got a screaming deal!!!! We called in the mid afternoon and I think she just wanted to book rooms. It was better to have someone pay a little than not have anybody in it at all. So glad I called and we went. We had a wonderful time! However, I am so glad we got a screaming deal. There is no way I would ever pay for the prices they are asking! It did feel so wonderful to sit in 80 degrees while all the children played. Jeremy and I even got to go and do several waterslides together and sit in the outdoor hot tub. If you haven't done that before you should! Loved breathing in the freezing cold air, but being completely warm in the hot tub. Grant was sweet and sat by the stroller with the two sleeping babes. I feel a bit more sane now! :)
