Happenings in the Sim household

Hello world of bloggers. This is Kami, here to tell you what is going on at the Sim's. My mother has been slacking on her blog. :) Be patient with my attempts please!

1. Kami took about 100 pictures of Eliza Jane. Isn't she a darlin'? (check out those pink boots!)

2. Aunt Lisa cut some bangs into Kami's hair. (It feels wierd talking in the third-person)

3. Ariana and Kami gave the family a post-Valentine's Day Musical performance.

4. Kyle's girlfriend gave him a Pink Floyd sweatshirt. (and he, being the sweetie that he is, made her a heart-shaped brownie cake)

5. Dad gave Mom some roses for Valentine's day. (You can also catch a glimpse of the newly painted kitchen)

6. Kami and Abby have been having some fun creating films. (Sue is the best "filmest" around)

7. There is always an extra dog around here.

Grandpa is 99

Grandpa Sam turns 99 on Tuesday. He was very surprised to see so many of the family there for his little party. It's always fun for me to see the family! We had cupcakes and punch and coffee. Grandpa had his own mini cake with a 99 on it (unless you turned it upside down then it was a 66).

Kami makes me laugh

Here is a note Kami left on the table for Richard.

Dear Father,

I do believe there is a blockage in the shower drain as it does not seem to be working at it's maximum power. If you would please see to it at a time that is convenient to you, I would greatly be in your debt. I wish you a pleasant sleep, and I pray your ailments do not ail you.

There's some gunk in the drain so if you could dig it out or pour some draino that would probably like, make it drain man. Sleep tight, and watch out for da boogey man, come to pick your boogers.

There I updated

It's nice to see that there are people out there reading my blog (well mostly looking at the pictures). Anyway my Mom and I are doing a lot of driving back and forth to Springfield trying to arrange for Grandpa to move into assissted living. That is stressful business. It looks like we will finally be making the move sometime soon. There are still a few more county people we need to talk to to finalize the whole deal. I'm afraid we are going to run out of good weather before we get the hotdog roast in. Maybe next year.

Kami and I would like to have a get together at the cabin. Would anyone be interested in doing a hotdog roast and sing? Warning, all we have is an outhouse!

Kami talked her brothers into letting me take a picture. I can't get a good picture of the three of them together. Kyle said hurry up! I'm not this affectionate! Ha! The puppy is Chris and Carla's new addition. His name is Odie.
