Christmas gifts that Pop!

Here are Reed and Marian learning how to shoot a gun. This is the kind Momma likes, you shoot it and nothing flies at you, all it does is make a small popping sound. They are really kind of cute :o) Reed also got a Machine gun from Jedd and Jessie, that will be fun to use with Uncle Gabe. It only makes noise as well :o)

Christmas Time!

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope yours was as good as ours! We count ourselves very lucky to have made it up the canyon to Heber and back in one piece. The kids had a lot of fun with their new toys. Reed got a WALLE, guns, Thomas the Tank (with track) and lots of cars, to name a few. Marian got a Cabbage patch doll, a doll stroller, a pop gun, anda grocery cart to name a few of hers. We also got to spend a little bit of time Christmas day with my family :o) It has been a long week. I got some music that I asked for! :o) Brad Pasiley, Tim McGraw, and Micheal Buble. I also was able to steal my parents old 10 gallon fish tank, and have since turned it into a home for my 2 Bettas and 3 frogs! ( Jeff gave his permission :op) I got him some more middle eastern poetry and a model boat to work on :o)

My Sweet Pea's pea incident

A couple of days ago Marian was eatting at the dinner table, and the next thing we knew she was putting her finger up her nose and sniffing kinda funny. So I look up her nose and see a pea stuck up there! A pea, she had shoved a Pea up her nose! What posseses kids to try something like that?! Anyway I am taking her into her room to lay her down on her changing table to see what I can do to get it out when she happens to snort it out on her own. That kid, she was very concerned about it though :o) I hope she learned a lesson that she won't have to repeat!

By the way I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!!!! Drive saftly ou there!!!!

If I am a Shepherd, where are my sheep?

On Sunday the primary invited the nursury kids in to see how it will be in a few weeks, so Reed got to come to primary with me :) During the lesson (about how the Lord is our Shepherd) the teacher was talking about how the shepherds take care of their sheep and then she asked the kids if they could think of a time when they had lost anything. I couldn't tell if Reed was paying much attention so I leaned over and asked him again if he had lost anything. He looked up at me and said "yeah, I lost my sheep" :o) What a silly kid :o) I love him :o)

Happy Birthday Dad!

First of all Happy birthday to my dad! I think he is 52 this year, but we have all lost count. :o) 2nd of all Marian had an excellent day yesterday! We stayed in the same pair of underware all day until right before bedtime when she pooped before we were able to get her on the toilet :o) Oh well, she is doing pretty good so far!

The birthday cake Christmas tree?

Here are the kids "helping" me decorate the Christmas tree. Marian was trying to blow the lights out (like she was blowing her birthday candles out, even though she eventualy just tried pinching her birthday candles out :o)

Potty Training! Here we go

Marian just turned 2 and with that is a coming of age that she has shown me she is ready for. She has been telling me when she has pooped and has been excited about sitting on the toilet seat like everybody else does. (also she has started putting her hand in her diapers and when she has pooped gets it all over her hands.) We have already had a few successes :o) I just got back from Walmart (the only place that I have found that sells the thick training underware) with a stack of the training underware. So that stack starts in the bathroom and within two days or so generaly ends up in the laundry room. So here we go....
.... on top of that two days ago I wrenched my back, or something. I don't know what I did exactly, but it has been very painful the last few days. I have to be very careful how I sit and stand and lay down, even walking is painful at times. It is getting better, slowly. It's a lot of fun having to put a toddler on a toilet seat with it though. :o)

Happy Birthday to Bean!

It was Marian's Birthday yesterday! She is now officially a 2 year old! She got a little tikes
Kitchen from Daddy and me (which we gave her the night before so Jeff could help put it together and see her reaction) Reed was so excited he said " I can share Bean's birthday!" He then sang Happy birthday to Bean while they were playing, it was really cute! :o) She has been playing with that kitchen instead of sleeping when we put her to bed (in her pitch black room) :o) Then that night we went to Chuck E Cheese for pizza and cake! She absolutly loves Chuck E Cheese (the mouse) so when he came out I had him go say hi to her. She was so excited. She ran up and gave him a hug and then a hi-5. I know that pic. doesn't show it really well, but she was very happy to see that mouse :o) Then Aunt Jennafer kiddnapped her and went to play games and Uncle Chance stole Reed and they went on a shooting rampage :o) It's nice to have Aunt and Uncles like that to play with! :o) She also had her little friend Brindy there to play with her. As soon as she saw her she was saying "Brindy, Brindy!" Thank you everone for comming and Happy Birthday Bean!

Ammon & Nicole!

Ahh, at last Ammon and Nicole are now Man and Wife! We spent all day on Satdurday up in SLC at the Temple and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We had lunch in the Jade room and the reception was on the very top floor of the building. It was all very nice (and the chocolate cake was to die for!) Brittany had made the dresses that Miranda and Mariah wore. We had our kids babysat by a very wonderful "Uncle" Eric and "Aunt" Sommer until the reception. Thank you guys very very much!!! and Congratulations you two!!!!
