Who's Who

When Lincoln was born both Rob and I instantly thought he looked like Lance!  Now we see a lot of Liam in him.  It is fun to look at all of the baby pictures and to see their similarities.  I love dressing Lincoln in the little outfits that both Liam and Lance wore.  It reminds me of how small Liam and Lance used to be.  The other day Rob and I were talking about how fun it is to have 3 boys.  It must be a whole different experience than having girls.  Liam and Lance wrestle and rough house most of the day.  It is impossible to keep them apart and to keep them from wrestling - believe me I try.  They pretty much chase each other around the house, laughing and wrestling all day.  There are a lot of scrapes, bumps, bruises....  They come to me for quick hugs and to wipe their tears and then they are back to their craziness.  Though it is crazy, they have fun together and they are laughing 90% of the time.  It tests my sanity everyday, but at the end of the day I am so grateful they have each other and I know they learn a lot from each other.  Everyday I think they become better friends and love it when I see them sharing their toys just to be nice, or saying, "Are you ok?" when one is hurt.  I love to hear their little conversations.  I love when they play superheros together or build towers together, and when they kick the ball to each other in the back yard.  I know it will not be long before Lincoln is running around with them and I have 3 boys wrestling together all the time.  Well anywho, while I am reminiscing I thought I would post some pictures of my 3 babies.  Can you tell which is which?

Update

So I thought I would quickly give a little update.  It is hard to imagine life without baby Lincoln, though he is only 4 weeks old tomorrow!  He just fits right into our family and we are so grateful for him.  He is waking up a little more now- but of course he is only waking up more at night.  I laugh when I read my last post about how I love getting up in the middle of the night with him!  Oh what a sweet mother I was!    That was when he would nurse and then go back to sleep,  ha ha!  Good thing he is so stink'n cute.  As a matter of fact I really should be going to bed right now instead of posting because who knows how much sleep I am going to get tonight.  Anyway, it is a small sacrifice for such a sweet baby.

Here is the 4 week update on Lincoln:

He loves to be held and Liam helps out a lot there because Liam loves to hold him!

He loves the binky.

He sleeps most of the day.

He is a good eater, and he is already getting a little chubby.

He does not like baths or diaper changes!

He is not a spitter-upper thank goodness, we really appreciate this because Lance was a BIG spitter-upper!

He looks just like Liam and Lance did when they were newborns, it is so fun to see the similarities.

He is such a sweet and peaceful baby.

He gets a lot of love and attention from Liam and Lance all day!

We all just adore him and can't get enough of him!

I thought I would quickly post some pictures of the last couple weeks.  Halloween was way fun this year, it just keeps getting better as my kids get older.

The Halloween Highlights were:

Going to the Pumpkin Patch and watching the boys run around going crazy in the maze.

Pumpkin carving Halloween Eve...  The boys had too much fun with all the pumpkin guts and they were everywhere, including in their hair.  We put them straight in the bath afterwards.

We picked up Liam and Lance's bunk beds and dressers on Halloween day, we waited over 5 months for them - long story...  Then most of the day was spent putting them together!  I hope to post pictures of their room soon.  The furniture came in 8 big boxes and I posted a picture of our living room as the first trick-or-treaters were showing up to our house, it was a mess!

We had a blast trick-or-treating, making Navajo tacos with my parents, and my brother and his wife and daughter, and watching the Utah Football game!

Sunday we had a Henriksen Family Halloween get together too!

Superman Liam

Buzz Lightyear Lance!

My little dragon was not too happy for this picture!

This was the best picture I could get of the three of them together!

A couple of other things...  Liam and Lance have been so excited for the snow to come and so when it snowed a couple of weeks ago they went straight for their winter boots, pants, coats, gloves and hats.  It took FOREVER to get all the gear on and then they came inside saying they were done playing outside about 10 minutes later.  Hello, it took me more than 10 minutes just getting all the clothes on them which were now all soaking wet!  I hope they stay out longer next time it snows!

Rob has taken Liam and Lance to a couple Utah Football games in the last few weeks.  They were both in heaven, and so was Rob.  Sorry about the food in their teeth in the next couple of pictures, I was not there so I take no credit for the pictures.  Liam and Lance are becoming quite the little Ute Fans.  Rob had a couple extra tickets to one of the games so he invited one of the biggest Ute fans in our neighborhood, Spencer, and his Dad.  Rob had a blast with them.  Spencer is only 11 years old and knows everything there is to know about Utah Football, Rob would adopt him as his son.

Anyway, I REALLY need to go to bed!
