Festival of Trees for my sister.....

This will be a little long but full of pictures of beautiful Christmas Trees!!! This is my all time favorite tradition and one year I hope my sister can make it in person to see for herself all the amazing creations! I only wish I could share the story behind each tree. That is what makes it even more special that they are done in memory of special people... for now these pics will have to do....ENJOY! Sorry my new camera kind of sucks....yep. real. nice!
This tree was done for Patrea's friends son Will who was in a wheelchair and died this year...
The above tree was done in memory of a beautiful 20 year old girl who was hit by a drunk driver with her 8 month old son and passed away. Her parents are now raising her son. Very touching display....
This tree was for a senior in high school who had a soccer scholarship when she was diagnosed with Luekemia...she is now in remission.
I loved the yarn balls and the ball made from an old sweater...I was thinking of adding something like that to my country tree.
Isn't that cool how they suspended the train to go around the middle of the tree instead of at the bottom where you don't see it or have room for it?! Brilliant!
The Drama Queen tree was for Hailey and her love of Justin Bieber! The next tree was in memory of the little girl who was kidnapped from her bed and later found dead. It was for sale for $7000 with tickets to New York for a ballet....wish I had the money!
An amazing tribute to two Elders who were killed on their missions....
This was a super cool tree and story! The license plates they made were way cool...and you got ski passes too....not sure I would take a 3 year old skiing!
The above pic is about a girl who at 20 broke her arm and found out it was because of a tumor. Doc told her he would have to amputate her arm but luckily another doc was able to save it by removing one bone and replacing it with a rod. 6 years later she married but was unable to have children due to all the chemo she had endured. On the day the birth mother changed her mind about giving them the baby they were to adopt she found out she was pregnant with her miracle baby Chloe.
It was so fun to go with Todd& Patrea and no kids! I was able to take time to read the stories behind the trees and not worry about the kids getting lost in the crowds or listen to them complain "can we go now"?!
But by the end these two were asking "can we go now"!

Paige's Baptism

We were thrilled to have Paige's baptism during Thanksgiving which meant the WHOLE family could be there! Although we had a problem with the water NOT shutting off-oh so memorable-it was still a perfect day! Paige was a little sick but luckily felt better for her big day. We are so thankful all the family traveled to Kingman to spend this day with Paige! Aunt Malaine and Sarah gave good talks and the cousins sang a pretty song that you could barely hear!:) We love our family!

Thankful for Thanksgiving.....

The kids LOVED playing pool with Grandpa Tom's new toy! Kept them entertained since there was NO Wifi at The Humprhries!
The BEST part of Thanksgiving was going to Golden Corral and not having to slave over a meal! It was so relaxing to just show up, everyone got whatever they wanted, and leave a messy table behind! No dishes!! The favorite was the cotton candy!!
You just can't get enough Basha's donuts! We had them every moring along with a diet coke run to McDonalds! The never ending sleep over was fun and the kids loved spending time with eachother! It's so great we could all be together for some fun family bonding!

Christmas at the Quesenberrys....yes I know it's only November!!

I guess my kids will have the memory of their crazy mom who decorates for Christmas a month early!! I just love the lights, colors, and fun memories Christmas brings! AND since we are going to Arizona for Thanksgiving I figure we might as well move on to the next holiday!:)

The Last Lion House Party:(

A Birthday tradition that we started with Sarah ended with Paige....such a fun way to celebrate your special 8th birthday! They provide the lunch, cake, ice cream, entertainment, party favor, and even a real glass doll! The girls loved the pioneer stories and games and getting to go to Salt Lake was pretty cool too! Bryan was roped into going with me this time and after he put his phone away he had fun too! I can't believe my baby is now 8!! Where does time go?! We sure love our Paigey!

Trick or Treat!

Since I've had a cold FOREVER my sweet friend Amy invited us over for a super fun dinner before trick or treating started. She made cute mummy dogs, veggie skeleton, and jack o lantern tangerines....so cute! Johnny had a map of the neighborhood all ready to go and they couldn't wait to get started!!! I could barely get them to wait until 6 but that meant we could be done by 8!! It was so nice to let the kids run the neighborhood with their friends while we enjoyed the fire and hot cocoa next door! We have the best neighborhood! The kids have enough candy to ruin their teeth and I'm happy we are done with costume shopping and planning until next year!
