We had our pictures taken by Kim, of course. We love them!

October/ November 2014
We took the opportunity to go see the Phoenix Temple during the open house.
It was beautiful inside, of course.
Isaac was pretty done by this point.
David got a mustache from the treasure box.
Enjoying the park.
Date night at the Gilbert Temple.
Volunteering at Sadie's Halloween Party.
Isaac got a hair cut.
We went to Hailey's baptism.
I had a really long, emotional day of jury duty.
I was so glad to be released at the end of the day and go home.
We decided one Saturday morning that we needed bike/scooter racks for our garage. Less than an hour later we were making these babies with scrap wood pieces! I always love using extra pieces for something useful.
And a little picture of Sadie :)

Halloween 2014
Sadie and I came up with the perfect Halloween costume after she read the first two Harry Potter books. She got a lot of comments saying that she looked so much like the real Hermoine.
Isaac while we were carving pumpkins. Notice that at 20 months he only has two bottom teeth there in the middle and two molars farther back.
This is the first year that we have actually carved a pumpkin. In the past we have just done the Mr. Potato Head style pumpkins and called it good. David came home from his field trip on Halloween with a pumpkin and was very excited to carve it. So, we did. He drew the face and helped clean out the guts. I carved it.
Isaac was an astronaut.
We love Arizona Halloweens because we can pass out candy from our driveway and visit with our neighbors. We have the best neighbors right now.
Family picture: a mummy, pirate, Hermione, Elsa, Captain (Chris had just started out at Ports America and was given the hat as a going away present) and and astronaut.
The pumpkin.
Enjoying their loot.

September 2015
I think most of this happened in September . . .

Bought some medusa hair curlers like this:
that make your hair look like this:
And found inspiration (almost copied, but I changed it a bit) to make these fun headbands:
I made lots of headbands.
We went on a few bike rides.
Chris has been involved in the Lost Boys Society for Leadership Development for the last three or four years. We were so excited to go to a screening of The Good Lie and get to hear from some of the actors.
All of the actors who played refugees in the movie really are Sudanese refugees. So cool! It's a great movie.
We got a Barbie Jeep from a neighbor at a garage sale.
Hanging out in the bike trailer.
Eve "performing" in her tap and ballet class.
We got lots of rain and some flooding.
A tadpole we adopted from a large puddle.
We painted the bottom floor of our house.
And I finally put up some picture up the stairway.
And of course, Sadie read, and read, and read.
