Half-Anniversary
It's almost 6 months since I came to HK to work. Time flies.
Many things have changed. I've started working and now it's my turn to give my parents and ah ma angbao. Peers have started applying for flats. Vanessa's gonna get married soon too! My sister has graduated. My dad seemed to have aged.
But some things still stay the same. Some friends still love me as much. While some don't seem to care, I don't know why.
Not many get to switch teams within the first 6 months but I was lucky enough to have the opportunity right before me to grab, and to the team that I am very very keen on. It's been a month since the offer was made, but the admin progress seems a little slow I'm getting impatient, knocking my feet on the floor all the time. In fact, I'm already helping them with their work, just not physically there!
Coming back to Singapore makes me miss the feeling of familiarity. Miss my friends. Miss the sun (but not the heat/ humidity). Miss the space in the S'porean house.

Miss the crazy girls.

Croque Madame at Mimolette was such a pleasure.
But for now, HK is still the place to work! It's indeed a city that never sleeps as I hardly felt bored! There are so many Singaporeans here, so many friends that think alike and so many things to do.
Fun Singaporeans, who are not just company, but friends who will hear your sorrows if you have any.
Self-made lou hei!
Hosted by chiobu's residence.
My primary classmate that I was never close to. Now I share (almost) everything with her!
