It's a quiet birthday, involving not many, but remembered by a couple of close friends who care. It's only yesterday that I came to realisation that I haven't been remembering birthdays this year, and I feel bad about it. Oops...
My mum whipped up some sumptuous dishes for a simple birthday dinner - ayam rendang, popiah and mango pudding. I was supposed to be ard to celebrate with my cousin, but I had to go out after dinner. The nite was spent at Eskibar, drinking and eating and chatting and taking lotsa stupid pics. The atmosphere was rather unusual. I can't really describe how unusual, but juz unusual. Later on, we found a quiet spot to cut our cakes and chatted. oh well, wad exactly happened i shall not elaborate, but I really hope that u can find the happiness u want :)
Thanks guys for spending my birthday with me, for the cake, presents, and tze and ben for the lovely and sincere messages. Also gotta thank wanling for the much-earlier celebration for me. Thanks babe!
Well, this birthday really got me thinking quite a bit. About the past, the present, possibly the future too. About the pple ard me, things happening to them and to me. But kinda juz thot of how to be a better and happier person. Oh well, I'm a contented gurl...
Sigh, I really miss u pple! I'm looking fwd to our mahjong and bitching sessions!

get L.O.S.T!
Finally it's over. The whole vacation, other than working hours, was dedicated to the organisation of this camp. Though I haven't been showing it much, it's pretty much draining mentally and also taking a toll on my health. So I'm pretty glad the actual event is over.
I'm grateful for the wonderful committee members I got to work with. Most of them were totally inexperienced in organising events, and were total strangers when we first joined the committee. But I can proudly say that this committee has grown closer and I enjoy very much being with them. :)
I derive the joy of organising events from the joy of the participants. So as long as they have fun, I'm happy. Though this is not exactly the most smooth-sailing event I've organised, it must have been the most unique camp. It runs on a fantastical and ridiculous storyline, which at least attempts to engage the participants in the theme and entertain them. The games in the telematch were pretty uncommon and very "survivor" style. And I absolutely love the T-shirt design, which I'd a hand in.
I only had 3 hours of sleep over the past 3 days. So, now, back to sleep. zzz

Pirates!
I watched Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl about 3 or 4 times. Each time I watched it, I laughed at the same few scenes, and was mesmerised by Bloom's suaveness, Depp's charisma, and Knightley's beauty. Dead Man's Chest was definitely not a disappointment, as with other movie sequels. In fact, it must have been the good mixture in the cast, adept development of characters and the clever appeal to audience's humour that makes the second episode better, or equally good to watch. I really dun mind watching it again. Enuf praised. Pls dun take the show seriously, cuz pirates aren't all that kind-hearted and lucky all the time to escape death time and again...
The long-awaited camp is next week. Response for our camp has been overwhelming, and hopefully, expectations of this camp can be met/ exceeded.
Rawr! I miss everyone! Yes, includes u, my mahjong, kayaking, stayover and gossip kakis, and my trekking and bitching kaki - toes.

Adrenaline Rush
Things around me are happening in a flash these days. When I have the private little moment to think back, I thot I might have neglected some impt things in my life. But this is no time to regret the steps I've taken. I've taken those steps and I gotta follow thru, make the most out of the best, and the least out of the worst. I know I'm trained to do this and I'm one who grows/thrives under harsh circumstances.
