Let the Adverture Begin!!

We're off!! On Sunday Russ took off on his drive from PA to WA!!! Me and the kids stayed behind to finish up cleaning and to see our truck off. Fortunately, my dear friend Stefanie Batista let me & the kids stay at her house and we even got to sleep in a real bed! No air mattresses! It was lovely. Monday, we walked through our apartment and turned in our keys. It was really sad to leave our home for 3 years. That's the longest that we have lived anywhere since we've been married 7 years ago. Monday evening was our flight to Las Vegas, we got here at 8:30 local time. Aron, Russ' brother, picked us up and we are staying at his house and having a great time!! Aron has a pool and a jacuzzi! Tanner wants to go swimming as soon as he wakes up! Even though it has been 108!! We have been staying cool. It is so nice to be able to sit back and relax after weeks of the high stress of moving.

As for Russ, he raced across the country driving my car and towing his behind. He made it to Seattle in record time!! He's already there!! He got there Tuesday around 6pm! I couldn't believe it!! He did pull some all nighters, be he says he rested along the way.... I'm not sure myself, but he made it there safe! And the only problem he had was a tire blowout on the trailer. he had all his tools with him so it was a easy fix for him. I'm sure he's sleeping right now! He'll probably sleep for a whole day! Which is good! He need to catch up! On Thursday night, Russ has a flight to come here to Vegas, we really miss him! I am such a sap....I just hate being without my hubby just for one day!

As for our plans form the future.....we are going to be hanging out in Seattle at Russ' parents house until we get a job set in stone and find an apartment to live in. Russ has been speaking to some Dentist in Yakima, Wa and from the sounds of it they really want Russ to come work with them! We are really excited! They have offered a pretty sweet deal! We are going to be making so much money we won't know what to do with it!! j/k! I know I'll figure out how to spend it! :) So, they will be paying Russ a salary and pay on his student loans monthly while he's working for them, AND!! They pay his malpractice insurance (which I hear can be very expensive!!) and we'll get total health insurance for the whole fam! And they also pay for his continuing education that he has to do each year to keep practicing. So if you can imagine it's impossible to turn that down!!

Well--I think that's about it.....We are having a good time and finally relaxing! ahhhhhhh......

Rylie is so silly. She just loves her bath! She crawls around in the bath & plays, as soon as I take her out she starts crying. She defiantly protests anything she doesn't like!! For instance, she hates having her diaper changed! She screams like your beating her or something. She is such a wiggly worm! She is NEVER still! She's always trying to get somewhere. And has now figured out how to pull herself up to her feet. Not the best timing but there is no stopping her!!

We are packing and getting ready for the big move across the country! So this will probably be my last post for a while. We will truly miss Pittsburgh and all of our friends that we have made. I am so grateful that Russ came here for school. I never would have made it through if it wasn't for my friends! Thanks!!

ok--I admit I haven't post every milestone on my blog like others do, but that's because they sneak up on me & fly past, then BAM!! It's another month gone by! it's so crazy! I can't believe that my baby is NINE months old!! That's not too far from 1 year! I am not ready for my baby to be one yet! I still can't get over the fact that Tanner is 4 1/2!!! What the crap?!

For those of you who don't know...it has always been my dream to be a photographer. Especially after my terrible wedding pictures!! I guess i thought that you have to have a degree to be taken seriously, so my plan was to go back to school after Russ was done. But! I have found out that just as long as I have a good portfolio there is no reason why I can't just do it!! So I have been reading photography books and remembering what I learned in my photo classes that I took in school. And feel I have the knowledge that most photographers do. And I will probally take classes when I can to learn more! But for now I'm just trying to get better!! And I think I'm not doing too bad! What do ya'll think??

Well--things are starting to get really crazy! And still very stressful! We have planned our move now. Our moving truck is coming on the 21st. And I think we'll be outta here on the 23rd or 24th. Russ is going to drive by himself towing his car behind mine straight to Seattle, the fly to Las Vegas!! And I am flying straight to Vegas!!!! Yea baby! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right?? Actually, Aron (russ' bro) lives there and his parents, and stephie's clan are going to be there, oh yeah, Brian & Kelly too! So we didn't want to miss out on the fun! That and went to Vegas before to came to Pittsburgh, so we thought it is only right that we go after Pittsburgh!! And we desperatly need a vacation! We haven't had one in YEARS!!! Well-that's all we know now, we're trying to decide where to go in WA, we have a few choices...so we will let you knwo when we know something!
