Living room...the door leads to the garage, the railing in the background is the stairs/ entry way. We only have there recliner chairs for now...but we just bought a *new* living room set! So well have it delivered after Christmas!! :) I can't wait!

Gobble, gobble!!

Hey hey!! Happy Thanksgiving!! And happy Black Friday! (No I haven't gone out shopping...) We went to Seattle for Turkey day. Russ has been working in Yakima this week, which means Wed & Thurs off & working today and tomorrow!! (BOOOOO!!!) He couldn't get today off b/c everybody else is off. Oh well. We had a good time! We drove over Wed afternoon & Stef and the kids came up that night. Then Lisa & her clan showed up around 11:30. So, when we woke up we had a full house! It's always so fun though! Never a dull moment. We went to Pam's house (Don's sister) for our feast....sorry I forget to take pics!! But it was a little crazy!! It seemed like there were more kids than adults!! And there were 4 babies!! Oh what fun!! :) We had a great & yummy dinner & then headed back the don & Jane's house to get our things, and Aron had arrived! WE hung out for a few before we had to head back here. What a fast trip!

While we were there Rylie started saying "puppy" which has a very long "eee" at the end! and now she makes dog noises...''woof woof" it's really cute!! Rylie has been saying when she wants something "momee momeeee" not just b/c she wants me & loves me, but just b/c she want to to give her something! Tanner was playing with his cousin Alex the whole time we were there (Alex is 6 and very full of energy) Tanner said to us on the ride home...I saw Alex do everything!! We had a good time all in all, it was just too short!

We just want to shout out to all our peeps...we're thankful for our family & friends, old & new! And for a great job that Russ has, and his time off so we have family time more often! I love my hubby & I am thankful that he always has me laughing & smiling everyday! He is so fun to be with! It may sound cheesy but I love my lova (my nickname for him...) And I am so thankful that we are finally near family & that we can visit my family when we want!

Hippity who--HORRAY!!!

I have had the most fantastic day today!! (btw--I know that I haven't post much writing on my last few posts...I've been lazy) ok--Back to my day! I had a doctor's apt. this morning (doesn't sound exciting-i know) but! I haven't been able to hear out of my left ear since Friday! That's right! $ whole days I've been practically deaf!! Not fun! And Russ has not been very nice about it--I couldn't hear a word he said & he refused to repeat himself! poop on him! So-I went to get my ears checked to find out what was wrong...well--this is gross!! I had major ear wax blockage! EWWWW!!! So the nurse flushed out my ear (which hurt like a mo-fo!!!) but I can HEAR!!!! Wonderful! I even had her do the other ear just to make sure I'm all cleaned out! The right didn't hurt b/c there wasn't the pressure like in the left. So YEA! I can hear the world! :)

After that I went grocery shopping @ Safeway. I know-not so exciting...right?? Wrong! I have been majorly clipping coupon's and taking hints from the Coupon mom, and I have been saving a lot of money on my groceries & cleaners & things. Even though the gay state of Washington outlawed doubling of the coupons--yes GAY!! I still have found ways to save lots!! When all was said & done my order was totalled before I scanned my Safeway card, it was $211!!! Yes!! Don't pass out just yet people! After my card savings & coupons, I saved *drum roll please* $ 71.38!!!!! Amazing! :) :) I was so shocked!! It really works! So any one who might want to find out what serious saving is all about!! So what might have seemed like a lame same ol' samo- was fantastic! :)

Halloween '08

ok--I know this is a little late-but still worth posting!! We all dressed up for Halloween! We had a great time! Russ was Darth Vader, I was a Queen of sorts, Tanner was lighting mcqueen, and Rylie was Jasmine! So cute! We went to the ward party & had a blast. They had game to play, a cake walk, & a door to door trunk or treat.

We were in Seattle a few days and I had to take advantage of the leaves on the ground. Since I have no trees near my house...I have no fall leaves. Enjoy the pics.

As for an update. We got Russ car back for a few days...and now it's back at the mechanic, getting a new tranny put in! Oh what fun! However since Russ is working here in Yakima this week, I am not stranded! He takes it in the morning and brings it back at lunch, then we take him to work. It gives me a reason to do house work I guess...at least I try to do house work in the mornings. They are supposed to be done with his car some time this week. We'll see....

I have finally put a fw pics on my walls!! I am so proud, I'm not sure what I was waiting for. Usually that's one of the first things I do. I feel more at home now. :)

As for a little update...I have been trapped in my house for days b/c Russ' car is in the shop! Yes, surprised anyone?? Russ' car is having problems....again, and yes-it's in the shop! Russ has no time to work on cars anymore. This is a good and bad thing! Good b/c I have my hubby on his time off--bad b/c it's costs lots of money to have someone else fix his car--and they still have it!! They've had his car since FRIDAY!!! And they don't know what's wrong with it...stupid mechanics!! Hence why I've been trapped. Russ is working in Sunnyside all week (30 min away) so he needs the car to get to work. :( BUT!!!! Today!! I am out and about in the world! We got a rental car for 2 days! So I can do the things that I need to do. :) And that makes me happy!

Yep! It's official! Tanner is a preschooler!! We were lucky to get him enrolled in the preschool just down the street. He loves it!! He tells me every little detail about it-except what he actually did... He goes on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9-11. It's a nice little break for all of us. Rylie even notices! Yesterday---she was wickedly laughing as she got into Tanner's things while he was gone. That girl is so smart!

The other day I put up the blinds in the dining room--b/c Russ had yet to do it & that window looks right into our neighbor's house....and I feel wierd walking around if I have just my 'g' top on. So I decided...I'm a woman!! I can do it with out Russ! So- I did! I was so angry! you have no idea how hard it is to screw something UP!! UGH! But- I did it all by myself! and!! it looks perfect! Hooray for me!

Russ and Tanner were really sick yesterday vomitting...yuck! I had such a fun clean up day! Russ seems better--he went to work today....and Tanner is playing-but still taking it easy. So hopefully-it's going away! I feel fine so far! And Rylie too...I hope we don't catch it! T.T.F.N.
