I got a new position at the GAP.
I am now the "Brand Logistics Supervisor"
which means, I am in charge of:
shipment, markdowns, and window visuals
and I also got my one year pin.
Hooray for me! I have been praying for a job opportunity and this just kind of came up. And even though I will be leaving in 4 months, they still feel like I will do a good job. We have two HUGE shipments before Christmas! I hope to get into the groove easily and do a great job!

17 days
Ryan and I have been married for 17 days. This we have accomplished/procrastinated since the wedding:
1. bank accounts! I love seeing more money in my account!
2. my re-read of the Twilight series. I decided before book 4 came out that I would re-read the 3 prior to get pumped. Well, I still haven't finished Eclipse and Breaking Dawn is collecting dust in my bookshelf. I'm giving myself a 4 week crunch to get it done! I need to finish. End of story.
3. thank you cards. LOVE YOU ALL....but I swear it might be until next year when we finally get these thank you cards out. Yikes, how many times can you write thank you!??

Hilton Head with the Briggs Family
After Ryan and I spent 5 glorious days in Charleston, SC, we headed down to Hilton Head Island, SC. HHI is another beautiful resort spot on the Atlantic ocean. It was all new to me, but the sun was definitely not. The first 2 hours Ryan and I were there, we got burnt terribly bad. Ryan's parents had rented a 5 bedroom house for the week. It was great to have the family all together in one roof. It was an incredible house! I loved it when they told us, "You two will be sleeping upstairs in the king size bed." YEP. Married life rocks. No more twin beds or couches for me. They also rented bikes! Here is a picture of Stuart (Ryan's brother) and his girlfriend Julie. There wasn't a bike for Julie, so they improvised.

We then went to the Harbor and walked around a bit. We did see a dolphin! I was so excited.
We then went miniature golf with Stulie (Stu and Julie)
Our last night we went to Alexander's. YUMMY seafood. Thanks Larry and Dolly!

We are back!
What a wild ride! I haven't really had anytime to sit and write a blog. BUT, this is the new and improved blog of Ryan and Meagan Briggs. So, enjoy. We will do our best to keep you updated and informed of the many adventures in our life. We got married on August 9, 2008 and it has been wonderful ever since! We are living in Charlotte, North Carolina until we drive out to school in January. We will be attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. We are so excited to be in Rexburg! Being married is wonderful and we have already felt many beautiful blessings since our sealing...Enjoy!
