Halloween 2014

I am a true sucker for holidays. I love most, if not all, holidays!!!
I love to get into the spirit with decoration, activities and traditions.
Halloween is right up there with one of my favorites.

This Halloween didn't fail. We had a blast!

Getting the kids ready is getting more and more exciting.
Especially with T. When he got his costume on around 4:30 he was ready to get out there and get that candy.  I had to continually remind him were waiting for Grandma and Grandpa and Dad first.
And there will surely be plenty of candy when we do go.
This boy and his anxiety...a little exhausting.

They all looked adorable in their costumes. A batman and
two witches!

Finally after having to make the kids wait 2 whole hours (because ordering pizza on Halloween at 5 pm is not a good idea only 1 hour and 15 minutes later we were able to pick up our dinner)
we made it outside to the Halloween festivities.
Halloween on Snoqualmie Ridge is like non other I've seen.
Lots and Lots of kids and the neighborhoods really get into it.
It probably was a lot for little Clara. This being her first time actually trick or treating.
The first house she went into she tried to walk right in.
But of course it didn't take her too long and she figured it out.

One house had a full out Captain Hook ship in their front yard for the kids to get on and collect candy and walk the plank.  With a hot chocolate and cider station for the adults.
It was a fun night.  I am glad my parent were able to join us. And D also the past 3 years his had been busy with school and not able to join in.
It was good time had by all.
On to the next holidays...

Just normal stuff

 Play time!

Making messes and more messes.
But most messes make for happy children playing.
So I will take that any day.

It's always fun to hang out just the girls when the boys are at school and work.
We made a special trip to the mall to check out the new play area
and get a quick snack favorite, pretzel nuggets.

Last week of swimming lessons for the year! Yay!
And starting in January the kids are going to be in the same class which will make it so much easier for me!

G taking her first trip down the yellow slide!
It took her three rounds of lessons to finally concur her fear.
So proud of her.

Family night with popcorn!

This sweet little angel had yucky guppy eyes all weekend.
She was a little cranky but she was getting molars so I just thought it was that.
Then Monday her eyes seemed to get worse and they were really red .
So finally Tuesday I took her in to the doctor and little did I know she had two ear infections and an eye infection.
I would have never guess it.
She was her normal happy self, no fever, no sleepless nights.
Oh how I love her!
She got lots of hugs and snuggles for me for being just about the best baby ever!

19 lbs. 9 oz. (45%)
28.9 inches tall (38%)
45.5 cm hc (68%)

She happiest baby I have had yet.
She sleeps great!
Eats great!
Loves to play!
She is walking all over the place.
She climbs stairs too.
She can say "Hi" and loves to wave.
She can also say hot and Dada.
She babbles all the times and she thinks she is talking.
She loves to destroy what ever games her old brother or sister are playing.
She has certain things she loves to do around the house...
like getting into the snack cupboard, getting all the books down from the book shelf,
taking the DVD's out of the drawers, and taking the towels hanging from the oven and putting them in the drawer below. She does these tasks about 4 or more times a day. It's pretty funny...keeps her and me busy.
We are all love her so much.
She makes us laugh all the time.
Even the kids get excited when she learns new things.
She is a special person in this family and I am so blessed to be her mom!
 Love you C!
