Motor

This is Motor hugely enjoying himself playing with a pipe cleaner. He has just discovered them and they are his new favorite toy. He is a little ball of fire and seldom naps during the day. He is about seven months old now and hasn't slowed down a bit. His Mom went to Petco for cat food and a group called Bless the Beasts had kittens up for adoption. She saw Motor and just had to take him home. K. C. took one look at him and gave him the Big Hissy. Motor got the message and doesn't bother her. He does have a special greeting for K. C. each morning. Motor doesn't sleep with the beans at night, but when he hears them getting up in the morning, he bounds up the stairs to the bedroom. First he greets K. C. by presenting her with his butt to sniff. Then he jumps up to the Mom for his morning loving. Tiger was an entirely different matter. For Motor, it was love at first sight. Motor adores Tiger and wants to play with him all the time. He will leap at Tiger at every opportunity. He even jumps off the couch onto Tiger's back. There is a lot of kitty wrestling in this house, almost all of it started by Motor. Tiger is a willing participant most of the time, but Motor wears him out eventually and he growls. Then he leaves and asks to be let out into the back yard or, if Motor starts chasing him, Motor gets put in his room for a little while. When Tiger doesn't want to play, Motor has no trouble amusing himself with his toys. Motor got his name because he purrs very loudly and very often. In the evenings, when it is family relaxation time, Motor jumps up on his Mom's lap for cuddles and pets. He loves to be loved.

Poor Tiger hardly gets any rest
'Cause he is the cat Motor loves best.
                                                    It's PLAYPLAYPLAY
                                                    All the live-long day,
But at night he goes to his Mom for a rest.
