*Gma Vicki Visit, Lots of ZOO days & Thanksgiving*

DATE NIGHT! Jon and I were so excited to go out on a date, alone with no kids, and at a football game, a UTES football game! We were in a sea of maroon and gold, and we lost the game by a field goal, but it was such a FUN night!
I love where we live! There a two huge ponds with fountains and a park just with in a half mile walk from our house, ducks, turtles, green grass (most of the year) and its just beautiful! We are loving life in AZ and could see ourself living here long term even someday!

Grandma Vicki came for a visit! Jon had to go do an away rotation for school.  He was gone for four weeks.  SO to help me out and break up our monotonous days without daddy, Gma came out to play! YAY! Reese is always so excited to see Gma!

Reese has become quite the artist lately. I love seeing her develop and draw, especially when she attempts to draw recognizable images. She was pretty proud of this drawing on the back porch.
Grandma brought her 1959 sewing machine Dorthy. We had lots of projects to work on when the kids went to bed!
We made xmas pillow cases for the kids. Cut and played out and got all the strips ready for my Christmas quilt! SO excited about that! Cant wait to get it all sewn together!
We made this cute owl pillow for Reesie Bear. We made a fun quilted Santa Clause Pillow decoration, and a new pin cushion. Love projects and crafts! So does Reese. She has so much fun joining in with us.

We had to go to the ZOO! Reese was in heaven showing Gma around!
Jensen is starting to love the zoo more and more too! He likes to point and make some of the animal sounds. He still isn't too sure about those giraffes though.

The monkeys were in rare form for some reason. They were singing so loud like sirens. And this little monkey was eating his fruit and Gma and Reese were talking and giggling over his behavior.

Gma likes these monkeys the best. She even got one to give her a high five.

We went shopping, to the movies, and more! WE love having Gma visit! Thanks for spoiling us while you are here! LOVE YOU!

Daddy let Reese paint his toe nails one night.  She has really gotten into make-up and nail polish lately. Its pretty fun and cute.

We stayed in AZ this year again for Thanksgiving. Sorry family. Jon only has three days off...traveling wasn't really a possibility. So we had a fun family day, went to the ZOO ate Boston Market for dinner and my friend Morgan made us an AMAZING pumpkin caramel cheese cake! YUM!

THANKFUL barely even describes how I feel for these 3! So very, very blessed! It was a great Thanksgiving. We loved having dad all to ourselves!

TOUCHDOWN! just an adorable pic of Jensen watching the Utes play with Daddy this month...

*Family Pictures 2014*

My very talented friend Mollie took our family pictures this year.
We went our to a less "Arizona looking" location. I loved how they turned out! Here are some favorites:
Reese is 3 years old in these pictures...just about 3.5 years old.
Jensen is 15 months old.
Jensen was making this "me want wingys" face the entire time, or had that tongue out...still cute as ever though!

*October & Halloween Fun*

Just a day at the park eating sand?! He has always done so good at the park and never eaten it. Apparently it was tasty today...
Reese loves Jensen and loves to make him giggle.
Girls Night! Pedicures with the girls.
Jensen's new favorite thing...pushes the garbage can all around the house,
or the chairs...
or the shoe basket.

One afternoon during Jensen's nap time, Reese and I made some fun Halloween crafts!

Starting to take little steps more and more on his own lately...AND he really learned how to walk this month too! I have a video of it.  Pretty darn cute and wobbly.  He was 13.5 months old when he could confidently take his own steps and walk! Life is about to change for us!
Bought the kids Halloween Pjs this year just for fun!

We were so happy we got to go to the Temple open house! When we moved here it was just big steal frames.  It has been so cool to watch the construction of this sacred building. Reese & Jensen were so well behaved through the whole tour and Reese thought wearing booties on our feet was pretty awesome, not however as awesome as the big bus that chartered us over to the temple.

I am so thankful for the gospel and the knowledge and faith it gives me in my life. I am beyond blessed to have this beautiful eternal family and thank my Heavenly Father daily for them!

And let the HALLOWEEN FUN begin:
We are so spoiled here between the ward, MWU, and friends we have lots of chances to celebrate holidays and have fun! This year Halloween was so much fun!

This year I decided to make the kids costumes...seems I get ambitious enough to make them every other year.
Reese wanted to be a witch! And she is the most beautiful witch you've ever seen! I made her skirt.
And for Jens I made a dinosaur costume! It was so fun to make!!! He looked ADORABLE! It was a hot Halloween this year. Still in the high 90s and low 100s overtime we had to put the costume on. But he didn't seem to mind...

This year for FHE one night we decided to carve pumpkins instead of paint them.  It was fun! Reese was really excited and wasn't too scared or grossed out of the pumpkin guts.

We had to go for a visit to our favorite pumpkin patch again this year! It was HOT! It was also the last week in October...sometimes this AZ weather just doesn't quit!

And last but not least the MWU celebration! Always so much excitement and fun!
Carnival games, treats, crafts, and more!

Just a few of some of our friends kids together enjoying the fun!
