Uncle Jayson Welcome Home!

Uncle Jayson arrived late on Tuesday night from his mission to Ukraine. We had some tired little girls, his flight didn't come in until almost 1AM. We are so excited to have him home. It was a fun night of family, memories and amazing things that Jayson brought home. We were able to spend some good family time together. Jayson, it is good to have you home!

Addie's Christmas Tree

Addie has her own Christmas Tree. She gets to have "her" decorations on the tree and can move them and change them whenever she wants. And surprise, surprise... yes she is wearing her Cinderella dress. Maybe one day she will grow out of it, lose it or Mom will burn it!

"We Believe in Santa" Addie is really fun this year and is beginning to understand who Santa is. We are really excited for Christmas, only a few more days until Santa comes to visit.

Our little princess

Addie has to wear a skirt whenever we go out somewhere. We are still trying to figure out where this girly girl came from. We were going to a Christmas Party and Addie loves any kind of party. In Addie's words "Yeah, Christmas Party, Whooo...who... Addie will be so happy!" She brings so much joy to our family.
Addison absolutely loves her Cinderella dress from Halloween. She wears it from the moment she wakes up until she goes to bed. Addie is not allowed to wear her princess dress out of the house or to sleep in. She was throwing a fit because I would not let her sleep in her dress. It was so cute she feel asleep laying on her dress and pouting and when I went to put her back in her bed she wouldn't let go of the dress.

Fun in the snow!

This past Saturday we could not help but to get out and enjoy the first "real" snow storm of the season. We got our "little helper" out there and while she ate the snow Jeremy and I built a snowman. Addie loved playing in the snow and being outside. She loves the snow until she gets wet or cold.

Santa...

This was Addison's first encounter with Santa this year. We weren't quite sure how she was going to react. We didn't know if she would love Santa, scream, cry or throw a fit... but I think that because she saw the children ahead of her getting candy canes if they sat on his lap she decided to cooperate. As soon as she sat on his lap she blurted out "I want a doll!" and held out her hand as if he was going to pull it out of his bag right then and there. It was really cute. We were just glad she didn't cry. It is fun to see her figure out what Santa is all about.

My Little Baker

We had a great adventure trying to make muffins. I had all of the mixture for the muffins in the bowl ready to add the other ingredients, I turned around for one second and when I turned back I found a cute little girl with a mouth full of muffin powder, mmmm... yummy! She is a great little helper, we enjoyed every minute of it!

Finally Settled...

We moved into our new house about 6 weeks ago. We are finally finishing unpacking and getting settled. Well, settled enough to function, there will always be things to unpack and put away. The next big adventure will be the yard in the Spring. We are so happy to be back in Draper, and we love the area that we are in.

The Big Adventure to Colorado

This weekend we were able to go to Colorado and visit our good friends the Robbins. We had a great weekend. Addison was able to play with her good friend Abby. Jeremy did a little hunting.... which is always fun! We were able to have a fun, relaxing weekend. We stayed in Vail for a night and it is a fun little town. It was a great weekend. Thank you Robbins Family!

Addison's Big Girl Bed

Wow! It is amazing how time flies. It seems like just yesterday that Addie was learning how to crawl and now she is sleeping in a big girl bed. We got her a toddler bed, and she absolutely loves it. She loves to get out of bed and read books until she is tired.

Boo at the Zoo

We were able to go to Boo at the Zoo! It was the best of both worlds.... animals and lots and lots of kids running around everywhere. Does it get any better that. The things that parents do for their children!

Halloween..the family

We are always willing to get into the spirit of Halloween. Meet Ed McMahon, the winner of Publishers Clearing House and Tinkerbell.

Halloween, Our little princess

Addie wanted to be a pink Cinderella. Who would have known that a two year old is already a girly, girly and knew what she wanted to be for Halloween. Thank you to Grandma Smith for making the beautiful princess dress. Addison was Tinkerbell for a few Halloween functions, and when we got the Cinderella dress we have not been able to get it off of her. She is as girly as they get. She likes to wear dresses, not only for dress up but most of the time she refuses to wear pants. She loves to wear dress up shoes or Mom's shoes, and loves to put on make up and carry purses around. Unfortunately Dad doesn't get out of the trouble... Addie has a special crown designated just for Dad. She loves to tell Dad that he looks very nice, not beautiful because he is a boy.

October 1....Addison is the big 2!

On October 1 Addison had her two year birthday. We can not believe that she is already two years old. It is amazing how time flies. She is two going on 12. I had no idea that a child could be so advanced at two years old. Addie has been talking about having a birthday party for a while. She was really excited to have a jumping party and invite Cinderella, unfortunately Cinderella was not able to make it. We are not quite sure how she comes up with the things does. She enjoyed every moment of her birthday party, she loves to be the center of attention.

what the...

So we are a little new to this whole "blog" thing, we are not exactly sure how it works but it appears to be the new way to keep in contact with everyone or another way to show off our kids. Sometimes technology can be so confusing, I hate thinking sometimes.
