Thanksgiving in St. Louis

This year for Thanksgiving we flew out to St. Louis to see Bob and Jill. It had been a while since we had been out there and Jenny and Mckenzie were visiting as well so it was great to get together with everyone and see them again.
Our picture perfect turkey cooked by Jill - it was so yumm!
We all had a little photo shoot before dinner. We had to give Mckenna the pumpkin to stop playing with her eyes.

Jenny and Mckenzie who we had so much fun with.

Ready to eat!
Mckenna LOVED looking out the window at Grandma and Grandpa's lights.
While we were there we went to Old St. Charles where they had people dressed up as different Christmas characters from the 1800's. It was really fun to see.
Another Santa Clause - I think this was the frontier one.
Jason with one of the carolers.
This was supposedly the German Santa Clause. Doesn't look much like St. Nick to me.

She found someone her size! She called them "cackers"
Waiting with Grandpa outside a shop.
Just the girls.
These next pictures are from a museum in St. Louis that was literally a giant playground for adults. They had some crazy things to do there. This slide was one of our favorites.
Wahoo!

Jason was climbing through everything - he reverted back to being a kid again. :)
Mckenna and Aunt Jenny.
Later that night we went to a Blues' hockey game and were able to sit in the box seats. It was so much fun with lots of action.
Those were just a few pictures of some of the things we did while we were there. We decided to hit Black Friday at 4:30 in the morning and lets just say it was crazy! I thought it would be much more mellow than Utah, but oh no, the parking lots were already packed. Jill came with us and we found some hot finds - the only problem was getting them back. It all worked out, though, and we had a great time in St. Louis. Thanks Bob and Jill!

Pretty As a Princess - Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween Mckenna dressed up as her favorite princess - Cinderella, or "Rella", as she would say.

All ready to go to our ward party.
Trick-or-Treating at the church.
Fascinated by the candy that just got put in her bucket.
Enjoying some of her candy with Dad.
This was at a little greenhouse by our house - they were having a little Halloween festival.

Eating "Mummy Dogs" and "Monster Apples" for lunch.
We went to Rob and Rosanna's "Trunk-or-Treat" on Halloween night. It was short and a quick way to get lots of candy. :)
Rob, Alex, Mckenna and Mom

Checking out her loot.
Having a deep conversation with Alex.
Aunt Rosanna, who made a shirt with an alien coming out of her stomach. Lovely!
Trying out a sucker from Grandma - scary!
