Thanksgiving with the Dunk Family

Fabulous Thanksgiving with my parents, brother, sister and their families.
We missed my brother Richard and his family from Oregon
(They had to work Black Friday). We love you guys!

The day: Went to G&G's house, helped make the feast for lunch, Ate, told jokes, played rock band, napped, ate pie, played board and card games, looked at store ads, cleaned up and hugged goodbye.

Want to give a shout of gratitude out for all of our family, that we love so much. Also to the ones that have been the key players in helping us create our little family-the beautiful birthparents in our lives.

Thanksgiving with the Hokies

The Hokie Family had their Thanksgiving celebrations this weekend.
It was especially nice to have Ben's brother, Dan, and his family in town.

Outside & I Love Oxi-Clean!

This is going to be a boring post compared to the last one!
We Love this soccer goal our friend Travis made. They had to leave it behind when they moved. We want to say thanks and it's being loved. Luke likes to have "soccer practice" everyday.

Last raking job. The leaves have all fallen in our back yard.

Lovin' the tire swing!

I love oxi-clean. I've heard many remedies for getting yellow spit-up stains out of baby clothes, but nothing seemed to work. So I still had some clothes that were stained by our "Lukey Pukey" baby. So I experimented. I put the clothes into 1-2 gallons of water with a healthy scoop of oxi-clean and let them soak for a day. It was Magic! They came out bright white and looking like new. It's really silly, but it made my day.

Biggest News of the Year!!!

We are expecting #3!

We will be blessed through adoption once again.

It's a baby boy!

Due Date: December 24, 2008

To Be Born in Utah

We are so excited!

picture from ETSY.com

We are ecstatic about having three boys. We have enough boys for a 2-on-2 basketball game(Ben and this baby against Luke and Gabe with mom referreeing). And who knows if this is the end of the boys in our family. We were talking about middle name for this baby, and I suggested one. Ben says, "Let's save that name for another boy." I just laughed.
We are so blessed to be able to meet and get to know the birthparents of this child. They are so amazing! It has been neat to see the Lord's hands in this process of adoption. Lots of faith, prayers, temple trips and fasting by everyone involved. We want to thank everyone for the support given to our family and the birthfamily.

Trick-or-Treat!

Had a fun halloween night with grandparents & cousins. The kids love trick-or treating. Gabe only made it half way around the neighborhood before he told me, "All done mom." I carried him back to the house while Ben took Luke for some serious candy collecting. Luke decided to be a Jedi right before the party yesterday, so I threw some fabric together to make a costume. He was so Happy! The kids were on a huge sugar high last night. A dream come true!
