CFA Family Night

Our local Chic Fil A had two special dinner guests this evening, Buzz & Woody! Bryson is SO in to all things Toy Story right now. We met up with Wendy, Emmie & Jax for a fun filled night! The boys were all about wearing their Buzz costumes and called themselves, "the little Buzzes"
Buzz....a little crazy looking...not sure what's up with the eyebrows and red marks on his face (I photoshopped them in the pic below)
The kids had a blast, eating their favorite meals, bouncing in the Toy Story bounce house, playing in the play area, making sundaes and of course....seeing their favorite characters!

Fun Visit

My old college roomie & sorority sister, Missy and her two precious kiddos, Luke & Ella. We had a fun day playing, dinner and a slumber party!
Among the boxes we still got to have a movie night and the kiddos loved it!
Missy and I had our own party too, watching chic flicks, eating junk and enjoying our time together. Definitely different than our Zeta days but so much fun!

???

So I've been trying to password protect my blog, I'm inputting the e-mail addresses and it just keeps telling me that my blog is open to the public by default and I can't figure out how to change that. Any suggestions?

On another note I'm so honored by all of you who read my blog and have asked to be put on the list!

Exciting News

We are moving!! This has all happened so quickly and it is insane the way it all went down. We'd been working on getting everything to the bank for our interim loan to build our house. We turned everything in Monday the 12th and were anxiously awaiting hearing back from the bank. I had some clients who were looking in the area and had placed an offer on a house on Wednesday (14th), there was another offer that came in at the same time. The sellers were taking a while to get back to us. Thursday my clients called and said they wanted to look at some "back up houses" and gave me a list. Well one of the houses was in our neighborhood, I called Cleve and asked him what he thought about showing them our house. He thought it was a great idea! So I showed them our house, they called me later on that evening and said they would like to withdrawl their offer on the other house and make an offer on ours. Now of course I didn't write this offer up for them! The next day Friday (16th) they made us an offer and we got it worked out. We close this coming Friday, the 30th. It's insane, yes I know! So many things had to fall into place in order for this to happen. God really had his hand in it! So we get to start on our house....really soon! They are going to be digging the well & septic this week. I can't wait to get things going and see the progress!

Guess who

Climbed out of her crib!
Sunday Cleve and I put the kids down for a nap and were doing some things around the house and outside. We came in and heard Macie.....and the noise didn't seem to be coming from her bedroom. She was walking around the house and had a look of "I know I've done something I wasn't suppose to and I like it" all over her face. Bryson was sound asleep so we figured she must have escaped all on her own. Bryson took this picture with my phone.....I think he might be a photographer some day :)

Password Protected Coming Soon!

After much thought and consideration I've decided to password protect my blog. It's really the safest & best thing for our family. I'd like to have the freedom to post whatever I want without censoring as this is kind of our family scrapbook! Also I'm sure as the kids get older they won't want every single moment of their lives to be publicly accesible :)

I'd looooooove for you all to continue reading about our family adventures! I LOVE to read others blogs....even people that are friends of friends and I don't even know. So please if you would like me to add you to my list of "approved readers" just shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment with you're e-mail. I'll be happy to! My e-mail is ztaalicia@yahoo.com

I'm going to do it a week from now.......I should have some big news to post once I do it :)

One and a Half

It's hard to believe that my baby is one and a half already! Everyday she is growing up to be more and more of a little girl and less of a baby (tear). She is definitly opinionated, if she doesn't like something she will let you know about it! She is pretty clingy to mommy right now. Loves babies, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (she sings Hot Dog Hot Dog & says Oh Toodles) Loves Dora aka Dodo, She loves wearing character pjs and does not like to take them off in the am, She is starting to be picky about the shoes she wears, She loves to put mommy's shoes on and walk around in them, Still cries every night when you put her down even if its for 15 seconds. She loves to climb on everything! Her hair is finally starting to grow and thicken up she even has a couple of curls in the back and can hold a bow on her head...if she wants to :)

She loves sweets of all kinds, I made some Happy Half B-day cupcakes and she loved them

but didn't like when they were gone!
Some favorite words and phrases: No Bubba, Hi Daddy, Hi Mommy, Dog Dog, Nooooo, Yeeeaaaa, Nack (aka snack), Dede, Mimi, Papa, NoNa (aka Ramona), Dean (aka our favorite neighbor Keen), Bryson loves to tell her what to say, and she usually does a great job of repeating after him. My favorite saying of all is, "I love you" it sounds like " I wa wu" it melts my heart everytime!

Happy Birthday Jalyn

My good friend Nicole's little girl Jalyn had her fourth birthday party at Leapin Lizards on Saturday. The kids had a blast at her party!
Macie had a blast running around and daddy even got up there with her and she thought that was really cool.
After the bounce house part was over the kids got to meet the Green Lizard, Macie was really interested in him.
Then they played the "cha cha song" You know..."Clap Clap Clap your hands....left foot one stop...how low can you go....all the way to the floor.....cha cha now y'all" The kids were SO in to it!
Even Macie was shakin' what her mama gave her.
What a fun party!

All by himself

Bryson wrote this.....ALL BY HIMSELF! I am so proud of him!

The Lake

We were invited by our good friends Ryan and Nancy to Lake Granbury for the third of July. We had a great time! Unfortunatly I didn't get any pictures to capture the day, but I definitly had to blog about it. It was both of the kid's first time at the lake and on a boat. They LOVED it, especially Bryson! He kept jumping in and out of the lake and had a blast playing with Nancy's neice. When we went on the boat the big boys were trying to knock each other off the intertubes, when it was the kids turn Bryson was a little disappointed to find out that he wasn't going to be able to jump from intertube to intertube and knock people off. We had a great meal and then got ready for the fireworks, Cleve and Ryan were in charge of the fireworks display. After the first firework Bryson told Cleve, "Daddy don't do that anymore you're hurting Jesus" Cleve had to explain to him that Jesus was way way up in the sky. LOL Despite the loud noise of the fireworks Macie cashed out about 5 minutes in to the hour show! It was a great time with great friends!

Fun Fourth Weekend

My cousin Angie and her three kiddos came to visit from Tenneesee. The kids had a great time swimming and hanging out with all of their cousins!

We started the fourth at church and then headed to my parents for some good food, family and swimming.

Nick and Cleve were the designated pyromaniacs....blowing stuff up, typical males! They put on a great show and we enjoyed it!

Angie & Danielle
Cousins :)

With all the swimming that we did this past weekend, Bryson has decided that it's time to retire his shark (floatie). All day Monday he swam from one end of the pool to the other, was jumping in and having a blast swimming like his cousins! I am so amazed at his swimming abilities! Thanks Mr. Kaleb!

Happy 4th of July
