since it's not yet april 3 (clash of the titans)...
i was stuck with some chick flicks and a dude flick...

dear john, leap year, when in rome and she's out of my league...

not the usual movies that i would go for but it's kinda refreshing to see the characters fight with plain arguments and not involve dragons or swords or telekinesis or laser beam... you get the point...

i watched;
dear john because of the notebook.
leap year because of my amy adams, i mean amy adams.
when in rome because it has a little of what appeal to me - magic.
she's out of my league just because of it's tagline - when she's this hot, you get one shot -.

they were ok....
but she's out of my league... is a little something...
i would even call it a dude flick...
it has elements of the typical chick flicks, romantic comedy... only that it focuses not on the chick...
so it's definitely not a chick flick...
maybe...

i would say the movie is empowering for the most part...

we can't settle on what the society dictates...

so...
kung mahirap ka... humanap ka ng mayaman...
kung pangit ka... humanap ka ng maganda...

kaya naman ang mayaman lalong yumayaman dahil nag aasawa sila ng mayaman din...
at ang mahirap... pinag aagawan na ng mga presidentiables...

sa isang probinsyano...
at isang taong alas syete ang curfew...
kahit isang beses hindi pa ako lumabas ng gabi para gumimik...
nanunuod ako ng sine afternoon time...
at kahit minsan di pa ako nakapanuod ng concert...

pero last year...
nung mag concert sina david cook at david archuleta sa manila...
napagisipan na oras ng masubukan..
ngunit... sa kasamaang palad...
once a homebuddy always a homebuddy...

sa sabado...
concert na ni timbaland...
at kung pwede lang...
manunuod talaga ako...
dahil sa lahat ng singers na nafeature sa album nya both shock value 1 and 2...
si justin timberlake pa ang may guest appearance...
lahat ng collaboration nila... lahat the best...
hay...
kung pwede lang...

meron ako nung bago nyang album...
at halos lahat maganda...
isa lang ata dun ang hindi replay potential...
pero yung iba... astig!!!!

pinakapaborito ko yung carry out - with justin timberlake at yung undertow featuring the fray and esthero...
at pati na din eto...

hay!!!sa wakas makalipas ang isang linggo...
natapos ko din ang queen seon deok...
at sana...
makatulog na ako ng gaya ng dati...
ilang gabi rin akong...
nagpilit na matulog...
dahil sa makailang beses ko ng nasabi na "stop muna, bukas naman"...
pero ang nangyari... kinabukasan na nakatulog...

nuong linggo ko lang sinimulan manuod sa kadahilanang di ko na kayang maghintay pa ng isang araw para malaman kung anu ang susunod na mangyayari...
at yun na...
nangyari na ang di inaasahan...

sa buong buhay ko...
hindi pa ako kinabahan ng isang buong linggo...
sa pagkahaba ng serye na to...
walang oras na di ako binalot ng kaba...

salamat na lang at wala akong sakit sa puso...
at huwag naman sanang dahil dito... sa tagal na nagconstrict ng mga ugat ko... ay magkasakit ako...

kaya babala...
sa mga may sakit sa puso... pati na sa mga bipolar...
huwag na huwag manunuod ng queen seon deok...
dahil... bukod sa suspense... paiiyakin ka at patatawin... paiinisin at pabibilibin... sa parehong sandali...

pero sa mga nagpapapayat...
pwede ito...
dahil kahit tawag ng tiyan di mo maririnig...

sa nakaraang 6 na araw...
wala akong ibang pinapakinggan kundi ito...
yung huling kanta na paulit ulit kong pinakinggan ay come on get higher ni matt nathanson...
kahit queen seon deok marathon ako ngayong linggo...
nabibigla na lang ako... na matapos magbasa ng subtitle... lumalabas ito sa bibig ko...

sa loob ng isang linggo hindi bababa sa 3 pelikula ang napapanuod ko... yung iba masasabing sikat, ang iba maaaring ilan lamang ang nakakaalam...
ngunit ang sigurado may pangit at may maganda...

bakit nga ba pinapanuod ang isang pelikula?
1. napagsabihan o nabalitaang maganda ito
2. nadala ng trailer at/o ng poster at
3 dahil sa mga bida nito...
at kapag nakuha ka ng mga nabanggit... dalawa lang yan;
1. nagandahan ka... o
2. napangitan(maaaring di masyadong pangit ngunit kung di ka nagandahan, yun na din yun)

sa dami ng mga pelikulang napanuod ko...
eto ang ilan sa natandaan kong akala ko pangit ngunit di pala...

at hindi mo malalaman kung maganda o hindi ang isang pelikula kung di mo papanuorin...

nung isang araw tinanong ako ng isang kaibigan kung maganda raw ang the hurt locker??? at malamang daw napanuod ko na... at dun ko din naisip na lahat pala nung 10 pelikula na nominado para sa best picture sa oscars napanuod ko na...

weeks ago... in our church... just before the end of the mass a new prayer was included and is recited ever since...
to wit...

yesterday i watched alice in wonderland... my 1st 2 3d...
and i never thought that sm naga finally set up for a 3d... finally...
ever since they open... i was waiting for a 3d experience...
trof and avatar were some of the movies i hoped i would watch in 3d, sadly they weren't shown yesterday...
i was so excited that i didn't even mind that i was 8 minutes late, just wanted to grab the eye glasses and watch a 3d movie for the very first time...
it's like i was there for the eyeglasses first and the movie next...
i wasn't into the story... just the screen...(pathetic!!!)
or maybe not...

everytime stayne come out... i keep thinking he reminded me of someone but i don't know who exactly??? so when i got home, i searched the net and found julio diaz... how funny is that???

maybe it's true what they say that your first time not necessarily be remembered all the time but surely will never be forgotten...

now i'm just waiting for my 2nd 2 3d...

hindi ko alam kung narelease na to sa mga radio station... pero siguro nga... hindi naman kasi nakikinig na sa radio...
siguro sa mga nakakabasa ng posts ko...
makailang beses na akong nakapagsulat na mahilig ako sa music na hindi opm pero proudly pinoy pa din ako... kapag nakakakita ako ng mga pinoy sa ibang bansa dun ako natutuwa... pwera nga lang kay charice...
dahil matagal na siyang sikat pero kahit minsan di ako naglaan ng oras para makita o pakinggan mga kanta niya... siguro dahil sa kapamilya siya at kapuso ako...

pero ng marinig ko itong pyramid last week...
di ako makapaniwala na siya ang may kanta nito...
nuong unang beses ko itong marinig hindi ko inakalang siya ang may kanta, naisip ko parang karina paisan, esmee denters, kristinia debarge, wynter gordon o muntik ng keri hilson...

very impressive!!! i must say...
lalo na na ang final version collaboration with iyaz... isang sean kingstonish na kumanta rin ng replay... at solo na sobrang ganda din...

no doubt pinoys are worldclass...
pero mas lumilitaw ang galing kung worldclass din ang material...

for sure...
in no time... number one na to!!!

3 weeks have passed since ash wednesday…
are you one of the followers?
or are you one of the self proclaimed smart deviators?(people who tried to justify whatever is comfortable to them as long as they won’t be reprimanded of not following) i know a lot of them...

well anyway…
this morning… i saw a trailer of this movie… by the looks of it… and being inspired from a real life story… i think its safe to say that this is a great one…

which reminds me of a movie i saw (only the trailer again) that got me so interested and been waiting to watch ever since… unfortunately it was never shown to cinemas in the country… but it will soon be out in dvd though (according to the movie’s official site that is)


i hope that this lent… people watch this… and be inspired to repent and/or do good deeds… from here on out…
and with no intention of threat: ondoy, Haiti, Chile… personally, this bothers me…
i wish more people feel the same way…
i know some will say those things are bound to happen someday and might be just a big coincidence that they occurred simultaneously…
but i don’t actually believe that… not entirely…
what can i say…
i’m a believer... are you???
if not this is the best time to be one... (i sound like a seminarian... i'm not)

alice wonderland, lovely bones, when in rome and diary of a wimpy kid are good movies to watch too this season…
