Yes, today was the big day! Colton was baptized on April 11, 2009. We were all so very proud of him. Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Walt came down from Oregon for this special occasion and it was so fun to have them around for a few days. The pictures that follow are the events of that day...

Here are all three kids, all ready to head over to the church.

Mom and Colton...does he look a little nervous to you?

After the big moment - I think he looks a little older - maybe wiser?

We decided to have a huge Easter Egg hunt following the baptism, since it was the day before Easter. Here are Grandma and Alex filling eggs, and I have to say I am not sure who ate more candy between the two!
Here is a shot of all of the kids getting ready with there baskets for the hunt. We were so glad that it was not raining!

What a good looking bunch of people! We were able to coax all of the grandparents to pose for a picture. We really have a nice looking family!

Cousins Sam and Tyler loved jumping! I think that may have been more fun than the Easter Egg Hunt!

McKaleigh got out her Guinea Pig, Pedro, and we told the little boys that it was a bunny - we wanted to stay with the whole Easter Bunny experience. They did not know the difference!

Grandpa and McKaleigh playing a game of Horseshoes in the backyard!

All in all, I have to say that it turned out to be a wonderful day...lots of food, family, and fun. What more can you ask for?
