It's December!!

Well December is here.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.  All of Micah's siblings were here for the holiday, so we spent a lot of time with them.  We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Micah's grandparents home and spent the afternoon there.  On Sat. the 30th, we celebrated Christmas with Micah's family, since none of them will be here for Christmas.

Ashlynn turns 1!!

Ashlynn had her 1st birthday on Sun. the 24th.  I can't believe a year has gone by, since I had her.  She has been the happiest, easiest going baby and I love her soooo much.  We had family over for dinner and to celebrate Ashlynn's birthday.  She didn't really dig into her cake, like my other kids did.  She would just put her fingers into the frosting and lick them clean.  She did try to put her whole face into the cake.  Not a whole lot has happened this month, but I will probably try to post some of our Thanksgiving holiday.

October update

Wow, another month has gone by.  I am looking forward to the upcoming holidays, but her is a review of our October.  Micah turned 34 on the 7th.  Ashlynn loved eating the wrapping paper.  Jackson and Makenna finished up their soccer season.  They both played very well and scored lots of goals.  Laralee and her family came one weekend(their fall break in UT) and the kids had a fun time playing with their cousins.  Ashlynn turned 11 months on the 24th.  My little pumpkin is almost one. Micah and I went to an adult Halloween party on the 26th, and then our kids got to go trick-or-treating. Enjoy the pictures.

Our September

So every Sat. in Sept. and also this month of Oct. we have spent and continue to spend watching Jackson and Makenna play soccer.  They are both playing very well and have scored lots of goals.  I am amazed at how well they play.  They are very aggressive and competitive.  I wonder where they got that??  Makenna turned 7 on Sept. 6th, and Ashlynn turned 10 months on Sept. 24th.  Ashlynn loves to blow kisses and is crawling all over the place.  She also can stand up holding onto furniture. I am pretty sure we have awhile before she starts walking.  Ben and Lacy came one weekend and I got some pictures with their twins.  My kids and I also went camping with my parents Sept. 13-14.

Our August

I have decided to update my blog once a month.  So here is what went on for the month of August.  Jackson turned 9 years old on the 16th.  We were in St. George for Dr. appt. and school shopping, so we got to celebrate it there.  He wanted a sour cream lemon pie, which is his favorite for his birthday.  We also went swimming at my parents place.  He got a nice basketball hoop for his birthday.

Aug. 24th, Ashlynn turned 9 months old.  She is finally crawling on all fours.  She army crawled for a long time.

On Aug. 25th, we had our kid's family birthday party.  Since the older three have birthdays within 3 weeks of each other, we just have to have one party, which I love doing.  Ashlynn may feel left out when she gets older.

 

 

Aug. 26th Jackson and Makenna started school.  Jackson is now in the 4th grade and Makenna is in 2nd.  Kaylee is in preschool.  She started her first day with her cousins today Sept. 3rd. 

 

Kaylee also turned 3 on Aug. 30th.  My kids are growing up way to fast.
