I love Lockheed!

So tonight I see this on weather.com

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 12 PM EST WEDNESDAY.

SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION THIS EVENING AND POSSIBLY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES, THEN MIX WITH SLEET AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE SNOW AND SLEET WILL THEN CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET AROUND DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY. AS MILDER AIR MOVES IN, THE FREEZING AND FROZEN PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO PLAIN RAIN DURING THE MORNING HOURS ON WEDNESDAY FROM SOUTH TO NORTH. BEFORE THE CHANGE OVER, A TOTAL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET IS EXPECTED. AFTER THE CHANGE OVER, ABOUT ONE QUARTER INCH OF ICE IS ANTICIPATED FROM THE FREEZING RAIN.
A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW, SLEET, AND ICE ARE EXPECTED. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING, USE EXTRA CAUTION AS UNTREATED SURFACES WILL BECOME SLIPPERY. USE EXTRA CAUTION PARTICULARLY ON BRIDGES, OVERPASSES AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES AS THESE TEND TO FREEZE UP FIRST.

What does John say. "Oh, ok I'll just tell my boss I'm not coming in tomorrow because of the ice storm and I'll work from home." He was issued a laptop when he was hired. So all he has to do is bring it home and bada boom bada bing, hes working from home.

I LOVE LOCKHEED!

Thanks for letting this handsome man be safe.

Apple smiles and super heros

Just another day in the life of the Ross'. Yesterday Boston and I made apple smiles with apple, peanut butter/cream cheese, and mini mellows. So funny. We also had a Farnsworth over today. This little guys Uncle is Kyle Farnsworth who some of you might know from MHS. They wanted to be super heros today.

Our first "big" snow

Thursday we had the biggest snow fall so far for this winter. Boston has been pretty disappointed with the lack of snow since we moved here. This time he was thrilled. He was still a bit bummed that he couldn't make a snow man though.

After playing in the snow we stopped into the office to get some cookies. What a great snow day.

Dads are so fun!

John kind of made up a new game with the kids. He holds them in his lap and falls backward, then rolls back up. He says it's a great abdominale work out and of course the kids love it.

These are Boston's UnderRoos. He got them for Christmas from Grandma & Papa Ross, who were encouraged by Uncle Loren. The story goes that John and his brothers use to wear these underwear and tshirt combos while they were growing up. They were not aloud to wear their UnderRoos outside. They loved running around in their underwear so much that when friends asked if they would come out and play they would say, "No, let's go play at my house so I can wear my UnderRoos."

Remembering Jason

If you had not heard Jason Tolman passed away this January 2nd. I thought some of you might have known him or his wife Kelley. Jason was a cousin of mine. My aunt is married to his father. I know this is very heartbreaking to his family. They could really use some extra prayers. You would like to leave a note and recieve funeral times you can go to http://www.rememberjason.blogspot.com/.
