Update!

Well, first and foremost...the greatest news of all; I PASSED BOARDS! I got my scores yesterday, and I was so excited that I passed I cried for about 5 minutes. I am so glad that all of my hard work paid off.
Next, we haven't been up to much lately. Trent is taking summer school and working. I started my job last week. I work 2 days a week, and am still looking for something to add 2 more days.
Our sister-in-law Cassie Jo leaves on her mission to Nashville, Tennessee this Wednesday, we are so excited for her.
We recently saw Iron Man, which was a really good show. I really liked it, but I've always liked the comic book movies. We also got together with a bunch of our friends and had a potluck/BBQ and played games. I am so grateful for my friends. Things have changed over the years, we now have babies and husbands, but it is always great to see each other.

3 JOYS:

1. My husband, he makes me happy.
2. Being graduated. You can't beat that freedom! No more school!
3. My friends and family. They keep me where I need to be! I love spending time with them, they make me laugh.

3 FEARS:

1. Not passing board exams.
2. Losing Trent.
3. That I won't be a good mom, when that day comes. I have always been afraid of this. I think being a mom is a tough job.

3 GOALS:

1. To get into a home/townhouse very soon.
2. To lose weight/get in better shape. (This has always been one of my goals, because it never seems to happen!)
3. Be a better wife and friend Be happy, be supportive, make dinner for the guy who works hard all day, keep the house clean, call the friends I haven't talked to for awhile. There are so many things I could do better.

3 OBSESSIONS:

1. Blogging! I am seriously so addicted. This week I had to make a goal one day that I would not check the blogs. Isn't that sad?!
2. Carbs. I love bread, cereal, cookies, pasta, rice, and all that stuff that is bad for ya.
3. Washing my hands. I have a little bit of OCD when it comes to this. I touch a doorknob, I wash my hands. I touch my steering wheel, I wash my hands. I think I am a germ-o-phobe.

3 RANDOM SURPRISE FACTS:

1. I worry about everything. I worry that my family will get in car accidents, that someone will rob my house, that someone I love will die, that I am not good enough at everything I do. I don't know why, and I can't help it. Trent is always so carefree, he worries rarely and when he does it lasts a minute. I get stomach aches and headaches because I worry so much!
2. I miss my friends. I miss the good ole' days when we didn't have lives except to hang out with each other. I miss the advice, the love, the comfort, and the laughter of my friends. I wish we could all see each other more than we do.
3. I like snowmobiling. I pretend that I don't like it that much, but I really do. I like to go fast! I can't wait to get a machine of my own.

I tag anyone willing to fill this out....it is actually really fun. You should all try it!

Lava Hot Springs!

Since I took the board exams on Thursday, I needed a little getaway, so off we went to Lava Hot Springs. It was a nice little drive, and a beautiful day. We went up Friday afternoon and came home late afternoon on Saturday. When we arrived at the hotel we had arranged it was under remodel, so they sent us to one across the street. It was the scariest hotel I have ever seen. We didn't want to stay there, so we got our money back and found the amazing Lions Gate Manor. We would have loved to stay longer, but we had to get home for the Mother's Day plans. Anyway, if you haven't been to Lava you should go. It is just a dinky little town, but the hot springs are oh so relaxing. I loved it! We just sat in them for hours. Then, we went and got massages, I think I got Trent addicted. He was really worried about getting one because he is so ticklish, but it didn't bother him one bit. WooHoo! Now I know I can talk him into it! We stayed in a really nice brand new bed and breakfast hotel. It was beautiful. They have different themed rooms. We stayed in the "Persian Dream", which featured immaculate furniture. We also ran into Trent's cuz Cassi and David Pratt while we were there. They came in from South Carolina, and ended up at the same hotel as us! It was crazy, and good to chat with them for awhile. The bed, hand-carved.

This was such an awesome chandelier. This picture doesn't do it any justice. This was a very large chaise lounger, I loved it!

Clinical Boards!

First, I will start with the good news. I found out yesterday that I passed the 8 hour written exam. That is a relief, I am glad I will never have to take that one again!
Well, today I took the last and final board exam in the series I have had this semester. I ended up changing my patient like 5 days ago, which stressed me out because I didn't get any of the professors opinions on whether or not she was good. She lives here in Salt Lake, so I had 2 of my friends pick her up and bring her to Weber. She ended up working out, she qualified, and I have no idea if I passed or not. I have to wait 2-4 weeks! Ughh!! I don't know what takes them so long, they took an hour to grade her after I cleaned her teeth, so they already know what I got!
She was a great patient, very cooperative and not too sensitive. The test ended up being a little bit more stressful than I thought it would be. It is timed, so that stressed me out, but I gave it my best and all I can do is hope that will be good enough.

Stomach Flu!

So, with graduation you would think that I would have celebrated my little heart out this weekend, but no, I didn't. I woke up Saturday morning feeling a bit under the weather, and by Sunday, I had the full blown flu. I had a fever, chills, sore everything, and of course nausea and vomiting(as if life weren't already bad enough). So, my cute hubby took care of me all day and night, in spite of it all. I was pretty much up all night Sunday/Monday morning because my body ached so bad I couldn't stay still. Poor Trent didn't know what to do, and I felt bad for keeping him up! He was a trooper though, and got up and went to work and did not complain at all. He came home and checked on me during his lunch break and everything. I am feeling better today, but still not 100%, so I have been quarantined to the house. I hope I didn't give anyone else the flu, cuz it was not fun! And, thanks to my wonderful husband, I love you babe!

Pics from Graduation!

Well, today was graduation! It is great to be done with school forever! WooHoo!
