Temple lights

Tonight the whole Penrod family had our picture taken. It was lots of fun even though it was cold. I think they are going to turn out sooo CUTE! Thanks Tricia! After pictures we went to Mattas & ate dinner, then to the temple to see Christmas lights. It was FREEZING!!! I think this is the first time we have taken the boys since we have lived here. They loved trying to guess how many lights there were. And the always love playing with Maci.

Christmas!!!

Every year on Christmas Eve we go to my Grandpa and Grandma Taylors house for dinner. After dinner the kids act out the nativity while one of my uncles read Luke 2. Then my grandpa dresses up like Santa Claus and hands out the presents and takes pictures with the kids.

My sister Steph and her family flew in from Dallas on Christmas morning. The kids had so much fun playing together. Every year my mom gets the kids Christmas jammies to wear. This is everyone but Keelie. Trevor, Kyle, Bryce, Hailee, & Maci.

Keelie Jo Goodman. My sister Cassie had her first baby yesterday December 13th. She wieghed 6lb 14oz. Cassie and Joe are soooo excited. Joe kept saying " This is my daughter" over and over again. It was so funny. He's a very proud daddy.

Gingerbread houses & Santa Claus

Trevor & Kyle with Grandma's help decorated a gingerbread house on Friday. I know what you're thinking, but I DO feed my kids. I don't know why they are so skinny or why they insist on taking their shirts off.





I took my kids to see Santa Claus. We waited in line for about 45 min. and this is the best picture I got. I'm so mad. The first 2 pictures were completely black so I turned off my flash and this is what I got. There was only 5 minute left until "Santa had to feed his reindeer" so I couldn't sit and mess with my camera.

Mr. Magorium Wonder Emporium

Trevor had a half day today so I thought that I would be a fun mom and take my kids (& a friend) to see a movie. I really wanted to see Mr. Magorium because I thought it would be a fun movie to see. Boy was I wrong. I was bored the entire time. My kids were entertained for a while but then they started talking about random stuff so I knew they were bored. They did say they liked it afterwards, but I think they just had fun going to a movie. I do NOT recommend this movie.

Guess what's inside

I decided not to show you what is in the toilet, but let me tell you it's not pretty. This is the 3rd time this week that we (and by we I mean Bryon) has cleaned out a clogged toilet (good thing he's a plumber). I don't know what to do. We have tried telling them to flush after every umm...well... That didn't work. I think that I'm just going to have them dig a hole in the back yard (we're renting) & let the landlords deal with it later. Boys are GROSS!!! Any suggestions!

Soccer is FINALLY over!

I love watching my boys play soccer, but with 2 games a week, a 1 year old baby & almost no help. It was way too hard. Luckily my mom came to most games to help me out because Bryon was playing in his football league (that will never happen again during soccer) or he was hunting. Thanks Mom!!

Field trip & the pumpkin patch

I went on a field trip with Trevor's 1st grade class. We went to Tempe Center of the Arts (I think that's what it's called) & saw the play Charlotte's Webb. It was interesting and a little wierd, but the kids loved it.

Then I took Kyle and Hailee to the pumpkin patch with Ami and some other friends a couple weeks ago. Here are some pics.

Hailee's birthday party!!

I can't believe my baby girl is 1! She is growing up way to fast. This past week she started walking and I'm a little sad because I wanted her to stay little forever. I guess that is not going to happen. That sweet little girl makes me so happy. I smile every time I look at her. I love her so much. She came right when I needed her the most. Happy birthday baby doll. I love you!
