Yay, for fall and photo friends.

The colors of fall were begging to be photographed. This photogenic field lives just across the street from where we live. A perfect place for an impromptu family photo sesh, don't ya think? The plan was to just use my tripod and get my exercise in for the day, by running back and forth between the timer button and the photo-ready position. (yeah, I need a remote. I know this) Just as we were headed across the street, and Cade had finally gotten up the courage to trespass into the field, (shhh...don't tell) my friend Abby called and said she wanted to stop by and say hey. Perfect timing! She agreed to be our photographer! Woot! I much preferred this situation. I was not looking forward to running back and forth for a half-hour. That would be a little too close to exercising, for my liking. I'm just not ready for that type of thing in my life right now. haha. It was a fun time. We got some good "normal" pictures, but most of my favorites were the ones that were taken in search of those normal pictures. I had a hard time narrowing my favorites down for this post, so feast your eyes...

Yes, we kept shooting through the tears. So glad.


But only for a little bit. Isla got plenty of binkie breaks.

Bath Babe

I seriously can't get enough of this bright eyed beauty! Cade is such a trooper for putting up with me and my wanting to take a picture every 5 seconds, even simple moments like, going from the bath to the changing table. I can't help it that if at the exact moment I look at her, she just happens to be in the perfect little pose and the lighting is all nice and bright!

I attempted to keep up with a veggie, baby comparison photo project while I was pregs. I slowed down about half way through, but I got the first and last week! I think that's most important! Right?! Right. These are weeks 5, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 37!















My lovely sis-in-law, Aubrey, is awesome and took these for me the very day I went to the hospital to have Isla.









These pictures document me at my very most pregnant. Oh yay! But seriously. I am super glad I have these! So glad I have Aubs as my SIL. She's super talented, check out her blog!  She also took pictures for me while I was in the hospital and did Isla's newborn photos. Yeah, she's awesome. The pictures are amazing, too. I'll be posting those soon! So stay tuned!

Alot has happened since my last post...

For those of you who don't know...I did a lot since my last update.





I couldn't be happier with what I did with my last year! I made a person! haha. Her name is Isla Rose. We are both so in love with her, she is the absolute best! I did most of my documenting with my phone and Instagram. It was just all too handy! I'd like to start blogging again, so here's to more blogging! *Clink (just a little impromptu toast for you...)
