Carnival

The carnival was in town again so we drove over so Gabrielle could ride a few rides. She loved the Merry Go Round and rode the train ride all by herself, but did not like the small roller coaster, they had to stop it after two times around because she got out of her belt and was clinging to Brandon. We had a good time and have a few tickets left so we may go back tomorrow night. Tabitha slept peacefully in the stroller.

Thomas the Train

Gabrielle and Brandon rode Thomas the Train this morning and had a great time. We can see Thomas from our window, so she has been excited since Thursday when she first saw him on a walk with Kathryn. It has been a long fun weekend of seeing her get so excited to ride him everytime he went by, which was about every 1/2 hour. The weather has been cold and rainy, but it was nice while they were on it and I got to see them and waved as they went by our backyard.

Lucky Mom

I have the two cutest girls in the world and am so greatful for them. Tabitha is sleeping great at night, with 7 solid hours last night! Gabrielle is the best big sister and such a great help to me.

Enjoying the yard

We have had nice weather lately and were able to sit outside this evening and enjoy our yard. Brandon has been very busy and working hard with everything, so it was fun to sit outside and enjoy it all. It is amazing that after such a harsh winter everything perks up and continues to grow.

Welcome Tabitha

We are excited to have Tabitha here, we are sure enjoying her. She came on May 15 and everything went very well with her delivery. It is hard to believe how tiny newborns really are. Gabrielle is a great big sister and Tabitha seems to sleep through all of her noise, she got used to it the last 9 months! We thought she looked just like Gabrielle when she was born, but she sure has started to have her own look.

Vacation to Salt Lake

We decided to take a little mini vacation to Salt Lake before the baby comes. We drove down yesterday and stayed in a nice hotel suite downtown, thanks to Kristen. We then went to a bees game, riding trax there and back, which Gabrielle loved. It had been raining quite a bit during the day, but the weather cleared up just in time for the game, we were glad because it was a lot of fun. Gabrielle was fascinated with the bee mascot walking around and always had to keep him in her sites and so we tracked him down for a picture and she was a little nervous, but then talked non-stop about it after the photo. We woke up this morning and did a little swimming at the hotel pool where she did a great job "kicking" and then we ended the day at the zoo. Gabrielle especially loves the monkeys, but enjoys all the animals and loved the short train ride. Gabrielle has been especially cute when taking photos, she will actually smile and say cheese and then rush over to see the photo and then says one more and we do it again. We end up taking quite a few photos, but we will happily do that to capture her cute smiles!!

Big girl bed

We have been preparing Gabrielle for a few weeks that she would be sleeping in a big girl bed and it finally arrived today. One of the ends is broken, but she was so excited we put it together anyway. So far she is quiet and seemed to be excited to sleep there tonight, we will see how it goes!

Weekend Fun

Brandon spent the weekend fishing at Flaming Gorge with some friends, so Gabrielle and I spent the weekend with my family. We had fun playing outside in the nice weather enjoying all the animals and jumping on the trampoline. We celebrated Kristen's b-day, even though it is not for another two weeks, but with the baby coming she was OK with celebrating early. We had a great time.
