Fun Fall Weekend

On Friday night we went to a Halloween party so of course we got Gavin a costume. Unfortunately it didn't really fit and it was damaged so after he wore it to the party we ended up taking it back. It's ok because we bought him an even cuter costume that you will see after Halloween!

I can't remember when Utah had a fall this pretty! On Saturday we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took some photos outside. The leaves are beautiful right now; I'm so sad to see them falling off the trees.

On Sunday Gavin was being so cute and happy so we grabbed the camera. No matter how exhausted I am these little smiles and giggles make me so happy.

Utah Basketball

Gavin had his first experience in the Huntsman Center this week. We went to the men's basketball Red & White scrimmage and it was really fun. I was surprised at how well-behaved Gavin was. He must love basketball because he seemed fascinated by what was happening on the court.

We also got to watch Elise cheer which is always fun. This photo isn't the greatest but that is her doing some awesome tumbling.

GO UTES!!!

Chocolat

Last night Jesse took me to an "Intro to Fine Chocolates" class. It was a completely new experience and it was a lot of fun. We got to taste about eight chocolates, ranging from what they consider mediocre to one of the best chocolates in the world. I usually don't like dark chocolate but some of these were amazing!

It was really fun to learn about the different ways chocolate is made and what makes a good chocolate. After tasting all of them I can see why people pay $12 for a bar of fine chocolate; it is worth it! We also got to taste the best caramel-filled chocolate I've ever had. We may need to go back and buy another one.

I think now Jesse and I can consider ourselves 'chocolate snobs.' However, I don't think I will ever give up my M&M's! :)

Baby It's Cold Outside

I can't believe it snowed this weekend! I am NOT ready for winter. However, I did enjoy putting Gavin in one of his cuddly winter jackets.

Other than the snow yesterday was a good day. Gavin giggled for the first time! It was so great and quite appropriate since it happened while I was singing 'Utah Man.' This kid is nothing but Ute!

Utah vs. Oregon State

Holy Cow!!!!!!!! That game was so much fun! Definitely a little scary at times but the end was so worth it. At least we know we are going bowling; now the question will be where?!?

Utah vs. Weber State

Last Saturday we went to the Weber State game where we realized our lives have changed forever! We had to leave the game early because Gavin was very unhappy. It's funny the way your priorities change after you have a baby! :)

Gavin will be spending Thursday evening with Grandma Julie so we can watch the Utes beat up on Oregon State. Thanks Julie!

On an unrelated note, my car was broken into last night! IT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!! They stole my stereo, my CD's and an emergency kit that was in the trunk. They broke my lock to get into my car so now that's broken. It's so frustrating because now we have to pay to get all this stuff fixed and the jerks will get away with violating my privacy. It's so frustrating!!!!

At least I have this little guy to make me smile!
